Storm Warning Altered Wheelbase 1965 Nova 396 Engine Start-Up and Maiden Voyage!

I hate Chevy but I do like the 396 a lot. I also dig the 383 and those who build them.

It's a Griffen aluminum radiator for a a '65 Nova. 2 core. Griffen P/N 6-564AC-BXX. I also got their "Pusher" SPAL fan -- P/N PF-06. Also PF-91 Harness and 185 degree thrmostat.

We're running a 160 degree thermostat, and the engine temp has not gone above 172 degrees -- even idling for 5 minutes in the hot Southern Calif. sun! This setup really worked for us with this 396. Best of luck!

The 396 big block was a great engine choice.
