You have no place instructing clients. First thing, shoulders should not be at 90 degrees (more like 45-60 degrees) as this increases anterior delt activation whilst reducing the input of pec major, furthermore, this significantly increases the risk of shoulder injury! Scapulae should be retracted to increase pec major activation. Secondly, you do want to arch your back to reduce shoulder contribution to the lift whilst maximizing pectoral activation. Arching also helps with creating intrathor
@drummerlars when did I say to do that you idiot. You shouldn't be pressing with a 90degree angle, its not a natural movement and only puts stress on your front delts and the very outside of your chest. Great way to screw your shoulder or tear your pec. Don't know why I'm explaining this to you.
@drummerlars On your mums laptop. You shouldn't have any videos if your teaching wrong technique. Go ahead and screw your joints for all I care, then you'll have to get your boyfriend to jack you off.
@ZBUD84 ..... You have low standards then! Shoulders should never drop below the body line which would in effect damage your shoulders long term... anyway fuck i dont know why i am explaining it to you.
You have no business instructing people. It's funny that you started lifting doing stronglifts, but you haven't actually read any of the advice or technique instruction that comes from the site.
If anyone wants to learn how to bench press, search for Dave Tate's benching vids. Arching is not dangerous, it's part of correct technique beneficial to shoulder health. It means you'll be able to perform an entire repetition instead of having to pause before you hit the chest.
lol ive been trainin for quite bit 5 yrs and ive came from 145 lbs to 230 with 8% bodyfat.and i kno about training but its better to arch ur back so like that you just focos on ur PEctorals. like that you keep of tention on ur shoulders.. hope this helps..
@MrTheghostplayer .... Fair enough mate. I am talking about natural arch is fine but really arching your back is dangerous. But hay were all entitled to our opinions :)
what happens if you damage the shoulders? I did in the past and when I do pull ups the next day on my lat workout (after my chest workout) I feel a pain in my arm/chest region
@randomguy0909 ... You can get shoulder issues with going to low. As soon as you drop below 90 degrees the shoulders kick in and thus when pushing up can cause injury. Normally a fisted gap bwtween the chest and bar is perfect
"front posterior deltoids". Classic! After seeing your videos I have to ask..have you been clinically diagnosed as a retard?
