Imagine what would have happened if she were to sing a choral with 3 or 4 voices where you have to control not only the intonation of your melody but also listen to the other voices and tune, fit in to the other voices' melodies so that this joint effort can show the harmony and the characteristics of the piece?

There are some cases of people who don't have a musical ear but then after some exercise they improve it. But these cases of people are only kids. You can't improve an adult's musical ear. After the age of 10, nothing can be done, no matter how hard you try.
