Decriminalise and regulate drugs = Billions saved in ending the failed 'War on Drugs' through reduced enforcement and procecution costs, massively reduce crime by removing the funding for criminal gangs, allow the treatment of addicts without the fear of percecution, tax billions in proceeds to go straight to the bublic purse.
@SkInHoUnD the ones in scruffy fluorescent jackets and blue ribboned caps arn't police officers. they're community something or other. They have very little legal power, have limited understanding of laws and cost a bomb to the taxpayer! basically, government funded security guards!

@AphidsRuleThePlanet i don't want to be as offensive as you, but nice example of verbal thuggery, i'm sure the knife wielding lot are taking note. But community officers like i said have NO power. If a gang of knife wielding thugs were assaulting someone, all they could do is witness it and call the real police. If society were healthy, people witnessing would call but instead they turn their backs. A fear driven police state is not the solution.
