another tip for gel liners is to store them upsidedown in a cool dark place, like a train case! works great for me!

for that paint pot/gel liner tip, you might check MakeUpGeek's vids. i'm not sure it's her, but i say that because when she does her vids with those roducts, you can see a neat little bit scooped out of the original jar.
