The end is the worst! Your baby girl will be here before you know it. It's hard to believe, though, when every day is a waiting game. You'll have to remind me in a few weeks (I'm 34 weeks) when I'm going crazy waiting for our little one to finally get here ;) Hope everything goes smoothly and that you are able to catch up on rest.
@MUSleger Yeah the end definitely drags on when you are just waiting. I really can't complain because the days aren't going by too slowly but it's just the anticipation of when it will be... I'll definitely remind you in a few weeks when the insanity of waiting kicks in. LOL
lol "cram his hand in there". Don't try to get too discouraged! I was 1 cm and 70% effaced at 37 weeks and I had my son at exactly at 40 weeks. The last weeks aren't that fun... the waiting is awful but you are almost there!!
@rachg09890 I'm glad to hear that it worked out for you after not being super dilated in the weeks before delivering. The waiting is definitely the worst but I figure it CAN'T be much longer. At least I hope not. LOL
I really hope she decides to make her debut really soon! And I hope that next time you see your doctor he/she can do something for you to make labor come on! are you planning to film any of your birth or take photo?

I see my doctor tomorrow so even if she doesn't do anything to get things moving along, I'm insisting that she gives me an induction date and hopefully sooner rather than later. I'm not sure exactly how we'll handle filming/pics during labor/delivery. I definitely want some pics and may try to get some video if I can too.
Hang in there girly! I was dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced at my 36 week checkup and my doctor told me I could have her any day... I was induced on November 29th at 40 weeks and 2 days. November was the longest month of my life. ; ) I know it's hard but she'll be here before you know it.
@tigereyes914 I bet November was sooo long for you! Congrats on your baby girl! I'm hoping they'll induce shortly after 40 weeks like you did rather than making me wait until 41 weeks. I know my OB said they wouldn't let me go any longer than 41 weeks but I don't know if she wants to wait until then...I'll find out tomorrow.
It's so bizarre how everything started up and then stopped again. And to be honest, I can't blame her for wanting to stay where it's warm, I can't stand cold weather. ;)

Hopefully she will be here soon. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be well before Christmas. My sis-in-law was induced right at 40 weeks for both babies. The second was induced on my dad's bday and we all thought he wouldn't arrive until the next day like the first. We were wrong though. He showed up via C section that afternoon. Both of them think it's great having the same birthday!
