  • awwww the babies are sooo cute!!

  • i was not expecting that action

  • thats cool i have been looking for a video on wild leopard geckos

  • i love these animals they are so cute i want one! and btw you people stop fighting over stupid shit!

  • @meteorologykid True, I have one at home

  • @meteorologykid I used to have one as a pet. They're fairly easy to take care of, and there are multiple guides on the internet. Just don't use any sandy material to line the cages, it gets in their eyes. They are very sweet animals, and can live up to 15-20 years if you take good care of them. *Sigh* It makes me miss my old gecko, Mia...

  • leopard geckos are such docile animals. Mine always makes a point of licking my nose when my face is near her. I know it's not so much an affection thing but it is funny. Great pets and beautiful animals. They always look like they are smiling.

  • wait..if they lay their egg in the wild without a problem. Why do we need to buy a egg incubator to successfully hatch the egg?

  • @Longmachao I hope you have your answer by now cause your stupidity is showing.

  • @Nusutto nope, still stupid here.. why don't you enlighten me genius.

  • @Longmachao Well not gonna explain what cold blooded and warm blooded means but I'll tell you why the wild doesn't need incubators. As you saw in the video the gecko looked for a place that had the right temperature. So basically they cant lay their eggs just anywhere. Incubators are used to match these natural temperatures since room temperature is 20 degrees and the needed temperature was 31 degrees.

  • @Nusutto No, why do we need an Incubator specifically? If they just lay eggs in the wild.. where does the egg get moisture from ? and how does it deal with the drastic changes in temp. from day to night. You can't successfully use a heat lamb on the egg, how is that they can lay eggs successfully in the wild with even in less stable heating environment.

  • @Longmachao Why do we need incubators? to heat the egg of course. Where does it get moisture? I dunno I'm not an expert on the topic. How does it deal with drastic changes in the temperature? It doesn't. Have you been to a desert its fucking hot 24/7 also they lay their eggs underground so the heating is pretty constant.

  • @Nusutto *face palm* .. your stupidity is showing. Desert isn't hot 24/7... There's a huge drop in temperature as day changes into night. Do you even know what your talking about?

  • @Longmachao ok disregard that my last desert experience was in vagas and shit was hot all the time. Still I said the geckos lay their eggs underground where the temperature is just right. You're asking why the need for incubators and I answered to match the temperature suitable for hatching eggs. I don't understand how you can't comprehend this.

  • @Nusutto I know how an incubator work. my original question is why do we need an incubator specifically for a successful hatch when they don't. Are u trying to tell me just because they lay egg underground the temp. suppose to be stable enough. So it doesn't even matter that the temp. above ground is fluctuating wildly between day time and night time..below ground there this constant temp. that perfect for leo eggs? Not to mention it a desert.. but underground there enough moisture for them too

  • @Longmachao instead of being rude and talking about stupidity, why don't you go to grammar school you illiterate fuck

  • @jlosmom Stop being such a phonic fag. Its a fucking youtube comment not a fucking book. Good job replying to a 3month old comment with nothing useful to add. Now go off correcting other people grammar / spelling mistake on youtube... .

  • @Longmachao you are a hypocrite my friend

  • @Longmachao well, an incubator could be used for several reasons. 1) to simulate the proper conditions for the egg, such as temperature 2) to get the proper gender of the geckos (some breeders are picky, or a fulfilling a request), the video also mentioned that the temperature makes all the difference for the gender of the babies, and 3) to raise the eggs in general. Not all of us have the proper stuff to take care of an egg, as you mentioned in your other comments a heat lamp won't do it.

  • @girlwithafunnyhat11 also, the conditions of the enclosure of your geckos may not be the proper ones for your eggs. In conclusion, enclosures of your pets are not the same as the wild; so you may have to rely upon outside help in order to properly raise the babies.

  • this i awesome

  • I love this documentary program! I have a few leopard geckos! ^^ their beautiful.
