  • NWO speech

  • They cut out the part where Howard says he has seen the face of god, and Jensen responds by saying you just might be right... That's my favorite part.

  • Corporations=Cults

  • @wisefulone

It's just one cult: "the college of corporations." At least in in 1976, the U.S. was a big deal. Now we are just part of Greater Mexico/Puerto Rico controlled by China. BHO said we're bringing back 100 jobs and people still believe the Dems and Repubs are separate entities. It's all our own fault, fawning over these reverse-socialists (corporates own the govt).

  • @sugarlanskee8 Agreed

  • I think we've found a running mate for Mitt Romney.

  • Good job for uploading this. I uploaded a network clip only to have it blocked by warner bros. What beautiful irony, LMAO! FFS!

  • I'm sure many people know of Ned Beatty for that one scene in Deliverance but THIS is the performance I will always remember.

  • If you like this, check out our version of this scene and let us know what you think.

  • it's by-law, not bye-law, fwiw

  • It's all because of the jews.

  • @tratorta Zionists, get it right fucko.

  • @BLAGASPANTS choke on a dick, fag.

  • @tratorta Well I couldn't choke on yours, pee wee.

  • When Rockefeller thanked the media for keeping a lid on his New World Order agenda, you know that Paddy Chayevsky was correct. The fact is that foreign policy is based upon what is in the best interests of corporations to exploit the world's resources and people. The WTO, IMF, CFR, all work toward this end, and is better expressed in "The Confessions of an Economic Hitman." The loss of soverienty, natural resouces, water and food supply, and an ever widening gap between the rich and poor!

  • I would not argue with his take on economic realities. I would argue that Economic piracy must be held in check by the rules who's goal is modern liberty. He says there is a goal but the pirates don't care about his proposed humanist end. They cheat and create shortages and poverty. The world is a business and life is a job. But the price of liberty is eternal vigilance against corruption.

  • Tel E(a) Vision. So tell people who watch tv A Vision, Witch Vision? Ask yourself who's the producer of what you see? Whos' the producer, man, women? Who's he..?

  • killuminati.isgreat.org /banks.html

  • 12 people have meddled with the primal forces of nature.

  • My favorite speech ever spoken.

  • "primal forces of nature" not "primary"

  • ned beatty rocked this

  • 12 people run the world...and they hit the dislike button after watching this.

  • @richmyjz - those 12 people are the 1% (literally, of 909 votes)

  • @richmyjz A 13th oligarch who obviously,"didn't get the memo" just hit the dislike button. It would have to be 13 given their masonic traditions. Right now it's 911 likes to 13 dislikes. Patterns in the chaos or ghosts in the machine or the universe striving to restore balance in its perfect scientific inexorable way, maybe it's the 13 who will get their 911 call. And old Glen just about makes me want to throw up, & his buddy o Reilly erasing Ron Paul from the brainwashed sheeples minds.

  • It is like Obama railing against capital corruption then taking millions from Wall St while those idiots protest Wall St who gave Obama the money to run....LOL

  • @00060850 Corporations have been stealing money from people for years. Remember Enron? Bush did way more evil things than any other president.

  • THE DISLIKES MUST BE DAM AGENTS

  • This movies is my favorite of all time. Could only imagine how much Mr Beale would freak out if the internet is what is now...back then.

  • can somebody give me a direct download for this movie?

  • haha no offense but this is a tad over-acted

  • @anessone Over-acted but very memorable, it's called the Kubrick method.

  • I wonder if Alessio Rastani has been given this speech yet.

  • Comment removed

  • Best monologue ever. More true today than the day it was recorded... Kudos to Ned Beaty for an awesome delivery!

  • Sounds like the NWO!

  • This is the speech Ron Paul got when he won but those in charge let him know his victory was not to be.

  • GREAT MOVIE. one suprise - that his bosses boss is telling him this. High place nd job to have such feelings.

  • Of the world's 100 largest economic entities, 51 are now corporations and 49 are countries. GOOGLE THIS ITS TRUE General Motors Wal-Mart, Exxon Mobil, Ford Motor, daimler chrysler all have more economic power than ireland,,saudi arabia, south africa, iran, israel, greece finland, norway amazing that companies could have more money than countries.the guy in the video was right their are no countries only large corporations which have no allegiance to any country theyll go wherever the money is

  • favorite scene in this movie!

  • "One vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock. All necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused. And I have chosen you, Mr. Beale, to preach this evangelic..."

= N.W.O/Globalization. One currency one global bank (IMF?) one media network brainwashing us & controlling its slaves (us) in austerity/poverty.

  • so true

  • The story of a libertarian stuck in the middle of a world run by fools.

  • Damn...I need to get the fuck outta here. Off to Mars!

  • i just learned more of the world watching this than school has taught me D:

  • Such cold, wise, and incredibly factual words. I couldn't have said this any better.

  • Talk about ahead of it time!!!

  • I mirrored, THANK YOU!

  • he missed out Euros

  • @russconha

I know ! xD lol i was like wtf! and also he missed out peso...

  • @russconha Euros weren't issued when this film was made (1976), but his words still ring true today.

  • Elite madness

  • The species known as the multinational corporate executive serves no evolutionary purpose. Look forward to the day they become extinct; USELESS DELUDED FUCKS! #GFC2

  • Add a dramatic piano theme in the background :) I have one in mind but I can't find the name :(

  • 0:29 Angry Homo kid?

  • Arabs = Chinese

Then again, U.S. corporations have sold this nation for the right price.

  • One of the best sequences EVER!! Thanks for posting.

  • superb writing, performance and direction. But above all supremely prescient. The last part is the best description of the NWO I have ever heard.

  • What he describes at the end sounds strikingly like the Venus Project.

  • @jwalidea what it sounds like is communism

  • apparently the mad as hell thing has been co-opted by glenn beck types? which is weird b/c the film is all about the power of capital (through the medium of television) to corrupt ideologies and lay waste to ideas. the scene with maoist guerillas arguing over distribution rights..... ownage.....

  • @SelfHatingWhite That's exactly right! I'm glad someone else picked up on that. What Fox was trying to do was create their own Howard Beale. Not for any positive change in this country but to get ratings and it worked. Glenn Beck was also put in place to dissuade Moderates and Independents from putting faith in a TV prophet and recognizing the real issues that Network's Howard Beale talks about because Glenn Beck was a right wing radical. Glenn Beck is the antithesis of Howard Beale.

  • @SelfHatingWhite That's because Beck is too stupid to understand this film.

  • This clip explaines the New World Order in under 5 minutes. (Only the guy forgot to say that they want to get rid of 90 procent of the population and keep the planet for themselves)

  • I believe it's "Primal" not "primary"

  • America is what it is. This is probably the greatest country in the world. This country was never designed for people to sit back and enjoy the ride. This country was designed for people to get up and make it happen for themselves. This is a country that hustles. You either hustle or get hustled plain and simple. So if you want to sit and blame everything else for the unsuccesful life you may have shame on you. Foreigners come here everyday and win why cant you after all you were here first.

  • @RatardedGenius if you're one of those people who still think you can make it in America, in this day and age, simply by working hard, you need to take the Genius out of your name. May I ask by what measure you determine America to be the greatest in the world? Was it the standard of living? Was in the healthcare? Was it the prospect of social mobility? Because this is not the 1950's anymore and America is statistically not number one in any of those. Or two. Or three. Or four...

  • @mf91007 I wont get into a battle of words with you because that is not what I do. If you have an idea and a plan I believe you can make it work. Twitter wasn't a corporate creation. A guy named Mark Zuckerburg had an idea and came up with facebook. Millions of foreigners come here every day and start their own businesses. What makes them any different than us? Cause they come here knowing that its different and they can take advantage of the freedom America provides thats why its great.

  • @RatardedGenius you just fucking completely ignored what I said and repeated what you previously said. Millions of foreigners DO NOT COME HERE EVERY DAY JESUS CHRIST STEP OUT OF THE 19 GOD DAMN 50s! Where do you get this mindless rhetoric? Your parents? Your church? Fox News?

  • My favorite scene in the movie. This probably one of the top 10 movies of all time.

  • This movie was the Establishment telling on itself with the Truth disquised as entertainment. It was proven later by the election of Ronald Reagan to deceive the White working class and recently to Blacks in the form of Obama to destroy all the gains Labor has made against the corporate fascists who function like feudal lords.

The movie proves the Establishment can tell the truth about itself and still succeed in its agenda against a hypnotized body politic.

  • America, land of the free. Free for the people in uniform.

  • EASTER, CHRISTMAS & TRUTH:

People keep defending their betrayers. Many willingly celebrate these wildly wicked weird witchcraft holidays from the weathered old Roman religion of rapists. Are these holidays the beautiful side of evil?...Well, evil, is still evil no matter how it is served to you. The Lord God shall a put curse on all who celebrate these holidays of Hell. You and your children' s children shall suffer plague and death. The Holy Bible explains this fact.

  • the united snakes, land of the thief, home of the slave

  • Amazing movie. I love it. Check out my video called, One Vast and Ecumenical Holding Company.

  • this guy is good at shouting who the actor?

  • @AfroGannon Ned Beatty

  • @namseer thanks

  • Great writing, acting and directing. One forgets they are watching a movie.

  • hey, that fat bastard was raped by hillbillys. wheeeeeeee!!!!!

  • Sorry to break the news to you... but corporations run and or own this world and are all ruled by the planet Saturn/Satan!

  • at first: sorry for my bad english...but who ever thinks, that a country, wich is build on slavery, stealing land and "ethnic cleansing" on native americans in not even 300 years is the "Land of the Free"...gotta be an complete fool...

  • @KLG701 And please name any other country that has NOT 'stolen' land, enslaved people or practiced 'ethnic cleansing'.

    I'm waiting...

  • @theschizoidman

,China, Russia, Serbia a lot of african countries...there enough countrys, wich are not build with the same methods as USA...besides that, the USA are not even 300 years old...sure, every country has his dark sides of history, but the USA are BUILT on that dark sides - big diffrence

  • @KLG701 ...............WHHHOOOOSHHHHH..., what the fuck...oh that's the sound of this clip from the network soaring over your head.

  • @theschizoidman ESTONIA

  • Olbermann meeting with the Neocons at Comcast and GE (Fascist Owners of MSNBC)

  • One vast and ecumenical holding company for whom all men will work to serve a common profit. In which all men will hold a share of stock.

All necessities provided. All anxieties tranquilized. All boredom amused.

All capitalism does is lead back to communism--we need to something that has never been tried before--a Resource Based Economy.

  • @VenusFreedom777 I'm fan of Zeitgeist movies, so i know the Venus project. Question: how do we go to this resource based economy? How do we break out of this destructive circle we call capitalism? Not trying to make fun of you. But how are we going to organise enuff people to make it happen? And resource based: this means somebody/something has to decide what resources should be used for. Is this even possible without "socialising" resources/production/... That is called socialism/communism.

  • @neurotic4ever they don't have a plan. burn it all down=no internet, no cars, no going down to the corner to get food. walking everywhere, no communication, and hunting and growing your own food, yeah, sure. everyone is gonna jump right on that one. If all the conspiracy videos out there are right, then you're deciding to revolt against a system that has been in place for hundreds of years. After the Roman empire fell we had the dark ages, you think the powers that be will let that happen again?

  • @Geisthunde Yes indeed they will let that happen again. in fact, they want that to happen. it's easier to kill a million people than to control them. remember that. because once the US economy is out and done for completely they will have reached the 2nd of third phase of their plan. listen dude, the mainstream media is owned by the corporate elite, who run the world. if they want you to think a certain way, or not know something all they gotta do is air it and you will listen without question

  • @mikegrasso17 I absolutely agree with you man, but all this talk of revolution? there's nothing you can do about it if indeed these are the most powerful people on the planet. I know about cultivation theory and the mindset of America is dancing to beat of the same drummer. convincing everyone to rise up and throw away everything they are addicted to: cellphones, internet, cable tv, starbuck's, old navy, is gonna be impossible to do, lol. go to work or die. that sums it up in the end.

  • Why do i get judged just because i ask some questions?? WTF. I was just curious. Those are genuine questions i asked myself. And things are moving worldwide, more and more people are fed up with the caricature capitalism has become. Capitalism has undergone different stages, this might be its final stage. And most evolutions have been towards more democracy, which is a joke nowadays. Just zoom out a little bit to put things in perspective. Capitalism hasn't been around for long in human history.

  • @neurotic4ever Who cares if its called communism or socialism, its about the ideas not the figurehead.

  • @neurotic4ever Capitalism in my opinion is the state protection of private property. Should that be our functional definition for capitalism then it has existed for quite a while. The reason why people think it has only recently started is because it has recently become possible for private property to be created and distributed on a vast scale i.e. the industrial revolution.

  • @Geisthunde well you're half right. but you also gotta take into account the fact that more and more people are waking up everyday and realizing "hey wait a minute, this is fucked up! this is not how things should be at all!" and you also gotta take into account the fact that we the people outnumber these tyranny a million to one. they only have so much control. they only control us because we let them. it's Stockholm syndrom! revolution is imminent. psychologically or otherwise.

  • disliked all i heard was OH SAVIOR COOOPRATE SAVIOR COOPRATE JUSTICE MCDONALDS bullshit

  • @joethecrackhorse all there is

  • i can just imagine what wierd al or some movie parody could turn this into hahahaha

  • Home of the Slaves land of the Sheep.

  • Surely there wasn't a more POETIC script in history than Paddy Chayevsky's masterpiece, even setting aside its relevence. Deserved ever Oscar it got.

  • A film made in 1976 that is truer now than it was when first released.

  • @MrUnidyne I know, right? It's scary how accurate this movie portrays society today.

  • @MrUnidyne It exposes the blamestream media, I agree

  • @MrUnidyne No war? No Famine?

  • @PerpetualTiredness Just remember that a government that can give you anything you could ever want or need could just as easily take it away.

  • This wad filmed a good five years before I was even born, but it's still fascinating and relevant.

  • It's all about the money...

  • "all necessities provided... all boredom amused" Bread and circuses?

  • @dudeman5685 More like buffets and ipads :p

  • Man, from 3.30 onwards he's talking about the One World Government. He even hints at the soft-kill tactics of drugs and other types of population control. I've just got that last bit. They say the best place to hide something is in plain site. It's funny the way you can watch things over and over but not really understand until you've learnt a bit about the real world.

  • what song sampled the money speech? I heard it before...

  • I've got to see this freakin movie... Such a shame I have not yet!

  • i wish this clip wasnt cut at the end. "I have seen the face of god."

"You just might be right Mr.Beale."

  • And we wonder what god ment in the bible that the love of money is the root to all evil! Maybe the movie maker has a more expansive description of that fact.

  • RIP Sidney Lumet, an American classic.

  • RIP Sidney Lumet but ALSOOOOOOOOOOOO RIP Paddy Chayefsky who died in 1981 and actually wrote these words.

  • why do people posst things and then not let them get embedded??? What is the purpose of that?

  • @lesslesser if they forced you to not let it embed i apologize i just dont get the point of sharing something great if it cant be shared

  • I have seen the face of God

  • "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward". Nuff said.

  • People who call this film "prescient" no more know their destiny than a tea-leaf knows the history of the East India Company....

  • The style is fire and brimstone, but really this is simply a description of how capitalism works in a global market place. If you think this is such a bad thing, ask yourself, who was it who REALLY put this system in place? It was all of us, because we want what people have always wanted: more than we need. From the stone age tribes, Roman Empire, medieval spice route, to merchant adventures & the East India company -shipping the product of one part of the globe to another and back again.

  • @david552 Just because something is in existence does not mean it is good. Not all things generated by a society are positive. To say that we created it so it is good is a careless exaggeration. Your comment seems to imply that Mr. Jensen's comments are completely acceptable because (1) we put the system in place and perpetuate it and (2) it is simply a description of capitalism. Mr. Jensen thinks the world should be run as a business.

  • Capitalism is an economic system which runs the world as a business - so in that respect, Mr. Jensen's comments are indeed a description of capitalism. Although "we" alive today did not create capitalism and international finance, neither were these things created by cliques of freemasons and jews as other comments in this thread suggest. I did not say that this was good, and I don't imply it - merely that those who affect to find it demonic and evil are hypocritical.

  • @david552 I understand there is a business aspect to the way the world operates, but when there is a very small minority with money and power and the majority of the world is not treated as people, but customers, there is nothing good that will come of that. When the world has become a college of corporations, as it is referred to, and people are simply consumers that add to the bottom line of those corporations, those consumers will no longer be treated humanely.

  • @SHNUCAU I don't believe that no other systems of economic life are possible (there have been many since man crawled from the slime) but it is a fact that capitalism is superior in many ways to all pre-existing economic systems, and no alternative system that rejects globalisation of production, distribution and exchange will provide peace, stability, ecological sustainability and equality.

  • @david552 They will not have the freedom to break away from the system and pursue their own interests. There will be no land for them to occupy which is not already owned by some company, and there will be no resources available that are not under corporate control. Everything will be under the power of businesses and rationed out to the "consumers", not people, of the world. Also, if you think that this scenario is not possible, you need to check the current state of the world today.

  • @SHNUCAU I find it interesting that you refer to "consumers" not "workers" betraying a slightly parochial outlook. In order to consume there must be production: business is at least as interested in people as units of labour to create products and generate income. In most of the world, life is already organised on business and private property principles, and in those states where it is not, this is simply because governments are getting the benefit and not corporates.

  • @david552 In the system described in the video, consumers and workers are synonymous. Everyone but the corporate elite would be laborers who produce a good or service and consumers that use up the products created. I don't know much about capitalism because my economic knowledge is still in its beginning stages.

  • @david552 I am not arguing against capitalism, for the sake of clarity, I am disagreeing with your comment about how this movie, or specifically this clip, is not indicative of where the world is headed. Firms get larger every day and competition continues to decline. Mr. Jensen's ideal world is one in which the corporations are in control of everyday life and we are completely dependent upon them. Thanks for the quick response by the way.

  • @SHNUCAU Ah, but I didn't say that the film isn't indicative of where the world is headed - I would say that (within the framework of a satirical, rather than a documentary film) Network is a pretty accurate reflection of the way the world IS NOW, and has been for some time - that's what I mean when I say that those who called the film "prescient" or "ahead of it's time" don't know their history. Corporate take-over of everyday life is an old established rule. (quick response is no prob -cheers)

  • @david552 My mistake for misinterpreting. Here is a question. Judging by your choice of words and the spelling of others, you are from some place across the Atlantic. Maybe you live here. I'm not sure. Wherever you are on the globe, I am sure you are aware of the current state of affairs in America (more so than most Americans, unfortunately). What is your prediction for the American economy and the U.S. dollar?

  • @SHNUCAU you're right I'm a Brit, I'm not an economist but IMHO: America & other rich western nations don't do enough to deserve it's high standard of living and the large share of the world's resources that it consumes. So what will happen is a continuation of the trend that has been emerging in the last 30 years: most of the population will experience a fall in it's standard of living in terms of the goods and services they can buy down to a level close to other world middle income countries

  • @david552 Your forecast is much more optimistic than mine. Trends are a good way of predicting future occurrences, but I don't believe that is the case with America. Our economy is going to collapse, not because of foolish investments and careless fiscal policy, but because it is the intention of people to make this happen. There will be no prior experience or knowledge of past events that will make this action any more predictable. It will take place when those executing the plan desire it too.

  • @SHNUCAU I'm not really optimistic - growing inequality, high levels of unemployment, falling real wages, more expensive public and private borrowing: these things are hardly positive. But I don't think it will happen in the form of a crash, simply the course of economic development over the next 10 years or so. I doubt the US economy is going to collapse, simply because it is valuable to the rest of the world even if it's overpriced in a lot of ways.

  • @david552 The housing bubble, the corporate bailouts, and the war in Iraq are just a few of the things that were not honest mistakes. All three of those events occurred because they were carried out as planned. For the successful creation of the North American Union, our present currency and economy must be removed. That is why, if something is not done to change its course, our economy will collapse. It is the plan.

  • @SHNUCAU try searching for this: OU Radio Lecture 2006: Is the world really shrinking? < it's a very interesting lecture by the marxist geographer Doreen Massey about "globalisation".

  • @david552 I will look into the lecture you recommended. I'll have to listen to it in sections while I catch up with other things.

  • @david552 I just finished listening to the lecture you suggested. The geographical perspective to globalization is one I have not considered before.

Biggest LIE EVER: "USA is Land of the Free"

  • @halcyon0830 USA is the land of the free, yet we build more prisons and house more inmates than ANY other nation on earth...lol

  • but as for people, as long as they are ok they dont care. People are ignorant in general.

  • @halcyon0830 Land of the thieves, home of the slaves.

  • @mikegrasso17 brother ali lyric?

  • @brianmartel haha yessir! you know your shit

  • @halcyon0830 Amen!

  • @halcyon0830 USA is the Land of the Free. They just never finish the slogan into a complete sentence ie.

USA is the Land of Free Enterprise by the corrupt Corporate Class.

Or the Land of Free exploitation of the people as the serfs of the corporate feudal lord. The Freedoms are the cherished right to pollute the people and planet for the profits of the select few, the Oligarchs.

  • @kybelian amen brother truthness

  • @halcyon0830 The USA was never a 'Country' it was always a conspiracy of corporations created to exploit the land, people and resources for a Board of Directors representing ownership. To be a Country is to have a Mother. Who is the Mother of the USA? It has a father but no mother. Like Christianity it is an artificial construct of men without the agency of any female. England has a Mother and a Mother Tongue. The USA does not. This is why the Corporations have succeeded.

  • @halcyon0830 Ron Paul 2012

  • Dont forget Google and Microsoft

  • He's mildly annoyed.

  • Rachel Meadow meeting with Ruppert Murdoch.

  • For anyone who hasn't seen the film but who has watched this clip - this is not the whole scene. In fact it finishes at the crucial point. The whole point of the scene is that it illustrates the madness of Jenson (the Rupert Murdoch character) but also how wily and manipulative he is. He is basically brainwashing the prophetic but troubled news anchor Howard Beale into preaching Corporate Cosmology on his show in the future, instead of telling it like it is and causing trouble like he has been.

  • @PHAnTAMLIMBO Absolutely, they should have carried it out to the point where Beale says that he may have just seen the face of God, and Jenson says, "You just may have".

  • I'M AS MAD AS HELL

AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE
