  • I was right in front of Drew! Wicked show!

  • I'm moving to Toronto next year. Hopefully I'll be able to see Karnivool there :)

  • Tool = Band that makes 10 minute nu-metal songs.

    Karnivool > Tool.

  • @WastePotato Tool is in no way Nu-Metal. You wouldn't have Karnivool without TOOL. Both are great in their own way.

  • @WastePotato why do you need to compare dude?

  • JON STOCKMAN!

My favourite bass line, when the bass kicks in. It's only 1 note!!! Amazing.

  • unreal good

  • That time signature! Damn! This band is like the second coming of TooL

  • @ZachValkyrie Actually I like them more than Tool.

  • @LeadersasAnimals yes, i feel the same way

  • @LeadersasAnimals have to agree, but that's just because i got kinda bored of Tool. It's time they put out something new.

  • I just had one of my greatest live-experiences ever, on friggin' youtube! This must be EPIC irl...

  • Win

  • nice bassplayer!

  • @stexnookie

I have y super bass headphone on

  • they fucking rock. is Ian Kenny the lead singer also in Birds of Tokyo

    ?????

  • @johnsonrowey Yes, Yes he is. But, obviously, Birds of Tokyo somehow appeal to the masses, whereas Karnivool appeal to lovers of technical music. Oh, look at the time. I'm about to go and watch them at the Coolangatta Hotel..... MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Come to NY!

  • Unbelievably good!!! Def looking for them to

  • Lovely song and the singing is awsome! Do I sense a bit of TOOL in this!? ;-)

  • @botaeriksson Definite influence as well as Perfect Circle. When I play "Sound Awake", I skip to track 4 to begin the record. It feels like there own distinctive sound from thereon, really solid album minus the first few tracks...

  • LOVE THE BATMAN SHIT!!!!!

  • drew got shoes on!!!!

  • Karnivool>all

  • Woow, what an awesome quality, what did you record it with?

  • great live... wow

    the bass is awesome

  • Wow, that bass is destroying. Good performance.

  • I like the bass but its very i mean VERY loud :P

  • haha awesome.

  • Karnivool RULES to me there better then:

Dream Theater and Rush anyday of the week. Can't what for the new Karnivool CD.

  • i would say they have traces of incubus tool and porcupine tree... but just traces. some of the effects, the rhythms/bass lines, and vocals respectively. all in all i think they're more themselves than anything else. makes sense to me.

  • I like how fans of karnivool also like tool, but personally I don't think they're comparable. Two different bands, really.

  • his voice sounds nice gives me goose bums ^^ love the accent hot^^!

  • more mrs volta than tool, if anything. They're more prog than tool anyway.

  • @hojima more prog than tool, nahah!

  • @FABIANbassplayer In terms of complexity? Yes. I prefer tool, but volta is a lot more complex than them. Tool's complexity comes from the rhythm, not much more. Not saying htats bad, just different.

  • they sound like a perfect circle kinda... i love it

  • Somebody get the official video (the one with bits from Saw 3D) and put it on youtube so us aussies can see it!

  • The next Tool

  • @hellskitchen123

    boo earns with that comment.....

    the next Karnivool?

like saying Beiber is the next Madonna? no?

  • @degas It seems even when I put positive comments on youtube, they get criticized. I hate youtube

  • @hellskitchen123

oh sry not trying to criticize ya...just not enjoying all the tool comparisons on karnivool vids...we all influenced by someone. Different tone of guit and vocals...to me anyways.

Sure youtube loves you....and so do I. Nothing personal.

  • @hellskitchen123 haha it's okay man;)

  • @hellskitchen123

    cheers brother

  • Holy Bass Tone!!

  • awesome! these guys rock!

  • Wow... amazing performance!

  • Stick drop at 2:23!

  • but he seems so awkward haha

  • singer sounds sooo good

  • FUCKING AMAZING.

  • 4:05 looks like he's holding two beers ;P, so excited to see them in Amsterdam!

  • That bass is so thick, you can cut it with a knife... Love it!

  • Pretty good recording for a Cam!

    Nice work! :D

  • seeing them live in july in melbourne :D

been hanging out for it for a year, missed out on big day out but this will be awesome :D!!!

  • ...I want that bass!! (and love the tone)

  • @777static777

Jono (bass player) is my cousin mate. I'll put a word in for ya and he might donate? haha ;)

  • that show was wicked..such a small venue..and they, fair to midland and killing isaac were every bit as good as they are on the albums

  • I love Karnivool!! They are the greatest band out there right now, and live.....no one can beat them.

  • @voolfan92 true

  • @voolfan92 My friend.. I love this band too but believe me.. Tool beats them!^^

    1)Tool 2)Karnivool 3)A Perfect Circle 4)Coma (Polish progressive band^^)

  • @juby08mongo72 Oh My dear Friend. Tool sets the mark i agree. but Karnivool sets the soul. Karnivool over Tool any day. Welcome to the era of The Vool.

  • @ds6011 FINALLY someone who's not affraid to say it!

  • @ds6011 I wouldn't go that far, Karnivool are fantastic but Tool are in a world of their own
