  • Fucking annoying bitch! needs validation, pathetic. i hate people

  • Plus, I don't really experience many emotions (usually only hatred, Happiness, sorrow, and neutral) so it doesn't really matter to me. Praise is just a dumb concept that fills you up with false self worth. If you think about it, based on the size of the universe, we are so insignificant, what we do in our lives is completely meaningless, so there's no sense in thinking you're special when your not.

  • @Ramen86861 because the universe is big you are not important? but we are the only known life in it so far. Did you consider the possibility that we are the ONLY life form in the whole universe? What do you know for sure about that anywai or do you think you are ''special'' and can make such conclusion about life with confidence.

  • @Phokya0 So far. If you think about it, the possibility is very high that there is life on other planets. And the thing is I DON'T know for sure. Nobody does. You could be right and so could I. I'm simply saying that if you take logic into account, its very likely. And when did I ever say I considered myself "special" for coming up with this with "confidence?" Actually I was stating the exact opposite.

  • @Phokya0 The whole thing with existence confuses me because I don't see a reason for anything to exist. If we all are gonna die anyway, what's the point? It would make much more sense if everyone was immortal. However, since that is an impossibility, and if eventally everything comes to an end, what is the point in being there in the first place? Again, I'm not saying I'm special because I came up with it. All I did was throw away the concept of ideals and embraced the truth. I'm not special.

  • @Ramen86861 You say you are confuse but you still come up with a conclusion and stick with that idea and mold your life around it. Its fine to belive in stuff but at least admit you actualy dont know the truth.

  • Had the care and affection of my family, but I still am like this. I actually have Asperger's which is very similar

  • This is weird

  • I use to be a very sociable and desirable person. but soon after high school, i somehow lost the ability to feel connections with people and stopped to talking to a lot of my friends. I just felt that relationships were a waste of time. I try to be nice and hang out with people that want hang out with me at least once and then after i just make up excuses so i don't have to see them anymore. Not that I'm mean, i prefer to be alone in solitude.

  • When I watch this and realize its a copy of the other video...I actually get offended..I dont know why

  • Yeah seriously, I don't think it's a disorder either.

  • Holy shit I have this ! Im Indian ! What should I do?

  • @acidee100 LOL your comment should be on top!

  • @acidee100 Stop being indian.

  • @AveNoctis

    Stop being a candy ass

  • @acidee100 Problem?

  • @acidee100 Go find someone, start up a conversation and once that conversation has reached its end, and you both part ways, say "Bye".

  • @acidee100 maybe u shudnot get married.

  • People don't develop this disorder in their last year of high school, it begins almost at birth. These children don't want to be held, may have selective mutism. A person who thinks they have this but hasn't been this way in action consistently their entire life is probably suffering from depression. Which is a good thing, depression is much more treatable than this.

  • So many people don't seem to know the meaning of the word 'schizoid'. They confuse it with paranoid schizophrenia for some reason. I've never been officially diagnosed as schizoid but on all the Internet surveys I tick all the boxes. And why should I go to a psychologist only to be told something I already know?

  • megadeth ROCKS!

  • Really...it looks like a disorder to me?

  • thank you ery much come again

  • mexicans

  • If we don't have a hive mentality and just accept all of the pre-set programming greenlighted by the system, we now have some kind of mental illness or disorder? Can't you guys see that this is just another campaign to discredit and negatively characterize people that are teaching that we are by nature multidimensional Beings? If I knew that conventional programming was BS and most people are drinking that tainted kool aid, I would mostly isolate myself from them too!

  • @slimsxyblkwoman whats wrong with a little stringent psychological categorization?

  • Comment removed

  • As a schizoid, I must say that this is a somewhat flawed evaluation of the "disorder", a schizoid would certainly say bye to somebody. In fact, we love saying bye as it allows us to maintain the required relationship while maintaining aloofness and indepedence as the person is in the process of leaving.

  • @WorshipInTruth I consider myself Schizoid and the only time i found myself say bye to someone, they were only persons that people didn't seem to care about, otherwise i would just ignore them.

  • @WorshipInTruth True, but I don't like saying Hi, especially when the person is surrounded with people I don't know

  • If schizoid is not a disorder then I must not have it because I am seriously suffering from this loneliness and isolation. I'm probably an avoidant.

  • @Deathinmusic

one way out of your loneliness might be to provide "structure". What might work is to join something that has a regular demand on your attendance, like membership in a fire dept, a club where you have to show up weekly or bi-monthy, Personally, im a christian and am involved in my church this works for me to get me out and connect with people.

  • lmao i have all of those symptoms

  • the dude just wanted to show off his guitar powers

  • this sucks!

  • yeah i can really relate to this guy,

i have a very simaler condition

i'm a complete loner and thats how i like it.

  • It's too bad so many people here have so little understanding of what schizoid is. It has nothing to do with Nietzsche. Being around others too much can be a drain on anyone. Some people enjoy a great deal of socializing but then they need some time off. Everyone gets burned and feels some anger. Schizoid is not about all that. Schizoids don't care to be around people in the first place, so it has nothing to do with wanting some privacy or alone time. We actually prefer being alone.

  • @ptod123 Yup alot of people just dont get it. People think i'm weird cause i'm so quiet and off by myself. They expect me to make friends and be myself. But they just dont realize that the two are conflicting interests. If I wanted to make friends I would but i just dont. I prefer being alone its relaxing and can help me think and clear my head.

  • @Dav2ya true true same.....but i think in a few years i might be able to get out of my house for once.

i dont go school or work. just sleep, eat, comp. lol

  • iz kinda like bee'nz awone too buts atz da sames tyamz iz kindza wants to be's around peeps.....man im probably never gonna type like this again. :)

  • LOL WTF HAHAHAHAHAHAH AHHAHAH. in flames episode 666

  • LOLL WTF HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Hey, don't touch the fro.

  • its not ok to disturb an artist!

  • lol why did she just touch his hair? I think even a non-schizoid person would be annoyed by that.

  • I agree with you Gib, I think SPD is not a disorder, but an honest and natural reaction to the assholes all around us in society who are just out to use us all they possibly can. Been through it all in spades, and I really don't much care for my own species anymore.

  • absolute shit

  • Why was the girl touching him on his head in the beginning? Gosh...just leave him alone! She was annoying.

  • I can relate to the moments of the video since I always find myself loving to be alone without much human interaction and I usually admire solitude. I really can't get diagnosed with this disorder since I'm under 18, but everything of this video is like watching another version of me.

  • Hey, please everyone consider the diff between deep and clear thought. if a person keeps focusing closley on a problem, they are simply going to find it harder to keep things in context. if they look for only clear thought they are at the whim of emotion. instead prefer others ahead of yourself-be interested in the more ironic/interesting story all around us. not in our heads..

  • I rather be the sheep that breaks out at the barn at 6:00 am, then be lined up and slaughtered among with the rest of the herd.

  • schizoid personalality is not a disorder because nietze said that when your with people too much you lose your identity so true.

  • i think schizoids realize that everyone around them are idiots, so they don't feel the need to interact with them..

  • It's a disorder !

  • i dont blame some people for not wanting to socialize with people becuase they can be a pain in the arse most of the time.

  • +1 for Megadeth and Children of Bodom!

    +2 for "F***!"

    Btw i can totally relate.

  • 2:32 thats me...

  • Why is SPD prevalent in early adulthood?

  • @Bremerxxxx i think it is because when we are kids, theres not too much preasure by people around us i mean, almost all kids want te same thing "have fun", but ten on early adulthood we realize that things are totally different & social relationships are fucked up.

    Sorry 4 my bad english

  • He likes being alone but if a big bear came running out of the woods i bet he would want someone there to help him !

  • FUCKING LUNATIC INDIANS

  • I love the atmosphere in this vid.

  • What do you mean wants attachments and detachments at the same time?

  • @TheFoRizzles It means that he(we) wants to love and care about someone, but he doesn't want anyone to expect anything from him in return. He wants what /he/ wants, from others, not what others wants from him. If he cannot get what /he/ wants on his own terms, then he'd rather not have anything at all.

  • Schizoid is simply a label for people with different beliefs. They believe in the paranormal and nwo therefore they must be a schizoid right? A schizoid wouldn't be considered that if he didn't believe in the paranormal, the nwo or "Magical beliefs," people simply dismiss this fact simply because they are ignorant, prejudice or a conformity sheep.

  • These video reenactments are SO idiotic, I can't stand them. They give people who know no better a wrong perspective on what these problems really are. Can you please STOP posting them at least, just as a form of respect to those who actually suffer from these conditions and continue to be misrepresented. Psychiatrists need to LISTEN to their patients if they hope to understand what the schizoid experience is and means. It is a disturbance and needs to be addressed and alleviated.

  • How about if you just don't like dealing with peoples foibles, lies, and emotionally driven reactions?

I show every symptom for this disorder but the only one that bothers me is the fact that I HATE to be touched, even just handshakes, fucking hate them. And the ONLY reason it bothers me is I don't understand why. All the rest of it makes perfect sense to me. I just don't care for peoples shit.

  • As a Schizoid myself, I use to want to have relationships with people. But after so many medicre ones I somehow "convinced" myself there was no value and nothing to be gained in relationships. I've been a loner since my senior year in high school.

  • @DaveDoggOwns Amen

  • @DaveDoggOwns That sounds awfully familiar to my life, I think I'll go see a psychologist soon.

  • Schizoid personality disorder it's not a social préjudice, it's a disorder ...

I have it, I'm a 36 years old french guy, and i'm very tired and depressed

I've broke lot a my appartment's furnitures because i hate my life actually

Ton bonheur, c'est toi qui te le construit, jeune schizoïde ...

Nous les schizoïdes ont est fait pour souffrir...

    15 jours d'arrêt de travail

  • @caffr3ys

please dont be offended but how about prefer others ahead of yourself-be interested in the more ironic/interesting story all around us. not in your head

  • @MegaMiir

I don't understand very well English language

I'm french and i'm schizoid since my birth.

  • @caffr3ys

  • You just stole the opening from that schizoid video and added comical indian accents.

  • Very well done. Most people I would expect to look at this guy like a freak, but I feel as though he's been my friend for life.

  • looks like hes having fun. why bother him? lool

  • Megadeth \m/

  • awesome loved it

  • this is the difference between schizoid and AvPD.. schizoids wana be away from everyone, like wen he didnt let that girl touch him... i think i have AvPD, if thatgirl wanted to i woulda fucked the shit outa her in the woods, haha,,... just turned 18, AvPD has ruined my highschool life.. so schizoids dont want human interaction but AvPDs do right?

  • that would be the primary difference. schizoids couldn't care one way or the other about people.

  • @TheScreamingRetard Actually that's an oversimplification because there are cases of people who are primarily schizoid but have avoidant traits, or people who are primarily avoidant but have schizoid traits. I know this from direct personal experience because I myself have been diagnosed along such lines. You can be avoidant about some situations & people and schizoid about other situations & people. There are no hard and fast rules. It's like a continuum.

  • @TheScreamingRetard Just adding to that paragraph you wrote though, it is shown that after continuous therapy, the Schizoid individual may show that deep down they really do want to socialize. However, if the "Schizoid individual" shows that right on the first session of seeing a Psychologist, they probably aren't Schizoid. Did that make any sense? Lol. They have to open up, basically.

  • this is a good clip expect for the fact that the schizoid personality is not caused by environment, it is a genetic neurological personality that has it roots in hereditary.

  • ive gone from having social anxiety and really thriving friends while hating the fact im alone. to very quickly after overcomming a lot of social anxiety feeling like i just want to be alone and on my own and without people. its strange because i know i cant socialise with others but i feel like even if i could i would rather be alone. its hard to figure out why im like this now

  • @doitanywayz --your story sounds like mine: from socialphobia, to attempting to be an "extrovert" (under the guidance of a therapist), and back to being alone but at peace with solitude. People are just psychic vampires in my opinion.

  • hmmm... its weird a lot of the time i just want to be alone at home with nobody in sight but with loads of food and playing video games or watching films lol.

its almost as if in many ways i feel like i get stressed out more in social situations but with less anxiety.

im also starting to find a lot more people at college annoying and especially when theyr in groups of people. i look at them and think "wow that actually looks really stressful if i were to be socialising with themeven if i was...

  • .... the most confident person in the world

  • ... the most popular person in the world... i would prefer to still be alone. can you relate to this?

  • @doitanywayz --yes; ive never wanted to be in the limelight.

  • Same story here, damn, are we that predictable.

  • Is it possible to be a narcissistic schizoid? Like, socially apathetic and un-empathetic, yet still egotistic and seeking to boost the ego through social acceptance, without really having a deep relationship with anyone?

  • Comorbidity is very common with personality disorders from the same cluster. NPD and SPD are not in the same cluster, so it is not very likely.

  • look i dont want to debate lets chat...do you have SPD?...i think i may have Avoidant PD

  • Probably.

  • how does that make you feel?are you content or lonely?is your life like taxi driver?

  • Fine, I just spend all day everyday with my girlfriend.

  • so would you say two schizoids together?are you co dependent?and what do you 2 do for work?

  • Hahaha, are you a psychology student? I am a student myself, and you remind me of a first year psychology student.

    I don't know; I don't categorized myself.

I don't work I get free money from the gov't for being smart or some shit like that.

  • no though i have flirted with the ideal for the majority of my life until one day i decided i didnt want to listen to others ppls problems.what field of psychology are you in sir?...you mean grants?wow whatever it is that sounds cool so plannign on being a psychologist ehh?

  • No damn idea. Maybe a teacher. I have been learning Mandarin, so I will see what I can do with that.

  • how old are you?and tell me about your life...socially?hobbies etc.familiar with socionics?

  • My hobbies are learning Mandarin, studying, and hacking on my Wii.

Socionics? No idea. I will look into it.

  • Wait, I think I replied to the wrong message. I know exactly what schizoid is.

  • Those with SPD do not seek social interaction. They do not chop people up. You are thinking of antisocial.

  • Comment removed

  • You obviously don't know what anti-social means.

  • Shunning the society of others; not sociable

  • ummm yea there are at least 3 definitions for it and frankly i dont cARE to debate it any longer...it seems your ego comes from your intellect so take the win buddy take care

  • Since we are in a video talking about schizoid personality disorder, I would assume we were talking about disorders as defined by the DSM. Why were you talking about colloquial uses of words?

  • u win buddy

  • Shunning the society of others; not sociable

  • antisocial |ˌantēˈsō sh əl; ˌantī-|

    adjective

1 contrary to the laws and customs of society; devoid of or antagonistic to sociable instincts or practices : a dangerous, unprincipled, antisocial type of man.

  • you said schizoids are not antisocial if your going to be intellectual be logical sir

  • Being completely logical; go look up APD.

  • This was AWESOME.

It pretty much sums me up!

  • Comment removed

  • i can relate to this.

  • I like your dream. Me too.

  • Even if it should be classified as a disorder, I refuse to change just to make other people like me better. I don't give a shit about them.

  • Flame me again. See if I start caring.

  • I do things for myself i don't really care if you care.

  • fuck off

  • wow...

  • @Giblinono HA I agree.

  • enjoyed the vid, good editing and all

  • Then I wonder why so many of us live from wellfare, and why they rarely have any interpersonal relations at all.

Say again, it is not a disorder?

  • i have aspd and spd, people dont like me too much. ;) i dont care for them either ;)

  • I asked the same question about a year ago. He admitted he did, from the lifeattheextremes version.

  • I've had this all my life and have just had to learn to live with it. I'm very good at 'flanking maneuvers' that keep people at a distance; but I'm my happiest alone.

  • @x101x23 what kind of maneuvers are they?

  • indianpatriot, perhaps you should be looking into Avoidant Personality Disorder. Schizoids are loners and prefer to be that way whereas Avoidants avoid social interaction because of anxiety and a fear of rejection. Although some may appear Schizoid, they actually crave friends and social interaction whereas, as said above, Schizoids do not desire social relationships.

  • the whole hypothesis of phscology is not authentic , even simgen fraud when anylised himself was found abnormal

it was my experience so i made it

    i respect your comment

  • @hemanginspace23 by simgen fraud you mean Sigmund Freud right? He is not representative of Psychology. How can you assert that the "simmgen fraud" represents all of psychology and not address the rest of the discipline?

    Psychology > Psychoanalysis

I see you are basing your assertions on faulty premises and personal incredulity.

If you don't agree with something, fair enough. But if you cannot support your assertions in a public forum, then maybe you should reconsider what you are claiming.

  • @RosheruCell So is there a similarity between Social Anxiety and Avoidant Personality Disorder? Or what about Social Anxiety and Schizoid Personality disorder?

  • @RosheruCell Maybe what he meant was that, Schizoids like to be alone, and feel they can't function when their with others for long periods of time. But after being isolated for a lenghty time span, you kind of feel like you require some companionship, until you actually recieve the company, and then the cycle starts over again.

  • @RosheruCell ALL RELATIONSHIPS Are relative in our minds eye so realise whatever your diagnosis you are perfcectly in tune with the whole imaginitive spectrum of consciousness. We see via are own self imposed limitations or paradigms. So: all 'paras;' do you 'dig'? Ms is another disorder involving the quantum fluctuations we are all enamoured of.Only the effect seems more apparent to the distant observer.Only true schizoid people will ever know the schizoid.

  • Thanks this Video confirmed to me that I have Schizoid personality disorder.

tho I do crave for friends but I am totally unable to make friends because people reject me just being with me within minutes.

I am taking help and God please help me.

  • whats the name of the heavy song?

  • sounds like children of bodom. cant remember what its called though

  • thts true the track is from childern of bodom

  • INteresting. I seem to have a few of those symptoms but not all.

  • This is not an illness, its a social prejudice. He listens to good music tough:)

  • yes sir, the good news is that they are really deep and have a deep vision of the world around them and themselves, but the bad news is that they lack appetite and they get used to it, but if they realize the lack of emotions and appetite, they will really sufferand i think that the best kind of therapy for them is music therapy

  • a lot of famous people may have been diagnosed with this "disorder". nikola tesla for instance was a reclusive person totally devoted to his work and largely uninterested in interpersonal relationships

  • Yeah i agree with this. We SPD's may seem disconnected from the world but our gifts creative gifts are limitless. Ideal for a world running out of ideas. No gift comes without sacrafice, bit like ying and yang.

  • THAT TRUE

  • @hemanginspace23 Yeah, but due to the apathy and antisocial aspects of SPD, those gifts aren't going to help anybody.

  • Bit of a big-headed way to put it, mind you. ;)

  • @j5972 What are you talking about? What does SPD have to do with creativity? A disorder that involved not enjoying hobbies and indifference to others wouldn't "creatively" help the world.

  • @j5972 I take that back. Many SPDs are very creative, but it seems that creative writing. Visual arts are less likely, since they may require dedication, motivation and the ability to use criticism. Creative outlets requiring lots of passion, like dance or theater, or care about others, like party planning or economics- forget it.

Also, I'm mainly basing it on me and aother person I know, both of us are severe SPD and are decent artists, due to our PPD's have NO DESIRE TO EVER MAKE IT.

  • Surprisingly good acting. I have SAD and I can relate to the main character a lot. Good production.

  • thanks a lot

  • I have this so called disorder. I see it as a blessing. I love being in my own little world. I don't understand why people feel so threatened by us. I don't know why they fear being alone.

  • u are right begin alone is blessing

just image yourself in your mothers womb,

each of us actually are missing tht state.

everyone talks of the past tht everything was good in past actually everyone of us are miss our mother womb. how abt it ?

  • Read The Divided Self: An Existential Study of Sanity and Madness. It's a study of Schizoid and Schizophrenic persons. About the Schizoid person missing the womb, he says just that.

  • Harry Potter FTW.

But that girl at the beginning... Does she want something?...
