at 1:00 :O ♥ Eric Burdons sexy as hell ♥ oh my Erics my pretty thing :3 The Animals are pretty legendary! it's a shame how underrated this song is. it's a shame how underrated The Animals were altogether...
this is fantastic i was in fridays in liverpool talking about brilliant this song is who is playing the harp on this and i see that no good alan fucking price is nowhere to be seen oh i know i'll put me name to this song and get royalties
@SuperLadypamela the 2:10 picture is my favorite. all right... I think is on the left side... this was in an airport in USA,,,, I think.... and the other picture I really love also....
Go Bo ! A Bo Diddly tune - covered by the Animals- who at least (unlike the Stones) acknowledged their indebtedness to the Black US blues men who would be their stepping stone to success !
@MalThorgan Don't talk daft! Many a black bluesman or their widows started receiving royalties, and more money than they had seen previously, when the Stones covered their music. The Stones always made a point of crediting their influences unlike Led Zeppelin.
@kemptonite If you are referring to "Willie Dixon"as A black bluesman (rather than MANY), or his widow, having received royalities for "Pretty Thing", and not Diddly, you are correct. Dixon wrote "Pretty Thing" but Diddly was the first to record it. Credit from the Stones (and the Animals), Led Zeppelin, Foghat, The Doors, for " PT", "I Just Want to Make Love to you","Back Door Man","Bring It Home" & "Little Red Rooster" should be given to Dixon.
@kemptonite In 1972, Arc Music, Publishers for Chess records, sued Led Zeppelin for copyright infringement of Dixon's song, "Bring it Home", & won. Plant continued to deny lyric credit to Dixon in interviews, stating only a "little bit" of the end of the song belongs to Dixon's original. Not only is this inaccurate, it is a bold face lie. The entire first half of Zeppelin's version, verbatim are Dixon's lyrics. Sadly, in 1979, Dixon had to sue Chess Records to receive his Royalties.
@irshgrl500 Yes- point taken-not knowing any earlier version than Bo Diddley's I had assumed it was his composition.
Dixon was simply prodigious in his influence upon the Chicago Blues & you can add a shitload of other Dixon songs successfully covered by numerous artists......Spoonful & Wang Dang Doodle for starters........but.......we digress.........The Animals are one of my favorite bands......& I agree with flatliner35 ....I can't think of a song by E B & A's I don't like !

@MalThorgan Nope, Willie Dixon wrote "Pretty Thing", not Bo Diddly. Bo was the first to record Pretty Thing.
