Me and my dad were coming from Winnipeg the day that happened we were the first people their you could see it just happened kinda scary never forget that day my dad jumping out of our semi yelling any body down their
@samedeepwater2 in case of bad weather rain, humidity, & the sun are all things that can ruin the load, and when there is 50k worth of freight on your back, its best to not do anything to hurt it.... thats not a guess that is my job, im a broker, and @athfromatruck, your videos are amazing, shout out from texas!! thanx for coming to see us
@iPhronz Yeah it is kind of mono-tone eh.....I should have picked that up when I edited the video, but it was a somewhat sombre video due to the fact that a driver from my company died tragically at the beginning.
i love big rigs.... i wana get my CDL... and every time i seen a trucker trying to make a turn i give then tons of room cuz i knw u guys have to make wide turns..... o and i love your videos....
Great vids. I drove cross country to CA and back a couple months ago. Drove through NM and TX. Of course I was driving a car, but I pushed myself to average almost 900 miles a day. One day I drove 1150 miles. I look back and wonder. I should have just put on 500 miles a day. Shouldn't have pushed myself so hard.
Hello David! Your journeys is great!!! Please keep safe drive on road and good work!!
When truck driver leave home on open road, like police men, firefighter, coastguard, pilots, marine, soldiers, journalist, Doctors without borders They mission is to do the best job, and return home safety with they family, they community and society . Please take care your rest well, before continues on the road. Hope for all you get WELL and the BEST.
been trucking in Ireland and the UK this last few years. Your videos make me want to apply for a working visa for Canada and try the trucking scene there. Keep the videos coming and keep safe out there!!!
david 5 stars!!!! if your ever coming to Sacramento Ca. shoot me a PM, and we can go get some dinner And shoot the shit!!!! take care of yourself and be safe!!!!
Whats up man! I am really enjoying these video's, my father in law is a trucker and he travels from California to New York. I am thinking about joining it because I just love driving and being out on the open road. How much does a trucker man anyways?
I'm thinking of becoming a truck driver, what are some of you ropinions... i'm 26, single, and i got laid off from my job, i have two years of college, but i am only half way done with my degree...i need to make money, and quick!!!
Outstanding videos as always brother!!! You really put the life of a trucker in perspective. Your videos show a perfect mix of the good and the bad in an awsome and much needed career. Thank you!!!
I justed watched your film's Dave it brought alot of true feeling's back, it is a lonley life out there but it was really enjoyable to watch keep them comming i was at Big Freight in 2006-2007 another brit.
Great stuff, Dave. OLT are raving about these films. You have hidden depths!! Thanks for the tribute to our buddy. I ran the ice with him for 2 years and it hit me pretty hard.
BTW, I used to be in C528. I finished there in May.
Thanks j! Glad you like it! Got some more on the way, hoping to get the next one up by Sept.19th! Stay tuned my friends and thanks for the support and the excellent comments! Cheers!
I also subscribed after I found his videos and watched them. I enjoyed them so much alot of thought and heart went into making them. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos !!
Thanks tater! Kind words my friend. Thanks for taking the tim to watch! Glad you are enjoying the series! I have some more planned, in the process and already putting together! Also going to see some really cool shots in Ep.8.
Just watched the whole series so far, really, really good! I subsribed right after the first. Looking forward to much more....and you are right zoe does rock.
Thanks sweety, still waiting for you to tell me who that Big Freight driver was. How much do you want for the tape? Anything bad on there that I can use to blackmail said driver with?? :)
Thanks Garren, really appreciate you lending me that Ice Road Truckers series. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it!! Makes me want to run th winter roads this season for a little taste. Looks like the promise land up there! See round' the yard buddy, you and the Mrs. stay safe out there!
Unfortunately, there isn't much money to be made on the ice road anymore :( The season is very short, something to do with fuel being hauled as close as possible now all year. Even when I was first up here the guys were gone almost 3 months, now its 5-6 weeks. Hardly worth gearing up for. =\
hey great vidios like always.. 5 stars for sure.. you do great videos and great editing.. I like the fact that you explain your trip with details and show the view while your in the state.. thats awsome.. I get a chance to see how the stated look like.. very very great video.. keep them coming :-)
Thanks Combo!! I appreciate your comments! I might as well give you a little talkup on my surroundings, or there's no point in showing you anything! I don't mind a little silence in movies, but when I'm supposed to guess the point to wht I'm watching I lose interest, so I try to always keep it interesting :)
great video like your others..You are a inspiration to all Truckers holding a camera..like me.. Im sorry about the trucker..You know my father die also at a accident with his truck..So take care bro and be safe on your golden trips..
I'm sorry to hear about your father aid. That must have been a terrible time for you and your family. I'm happy to learn that you also make videos on the road! I think that for every trucker spreading the message the more people willunderstand what its like out here. Take care buddy, safe trips, rubber side down!
Hello Dave, I know where you talking about, I was a proff truckdriver for 40years, and I'm very happy, I did'nt have made, fatally accidents, I don't say I'm a very good driver, no, I always had luck, to be back home again, Everyone thinks he is the BEST driver of the world, my question is , why happen so much, accidents????????? It's for 1% driving and for 200% watch out!!!! Dave you made a really good vid again, it's just a good documentary, Dave be care. Greeting Berrie
Thankyou berrie, you're right, people get distracted and do stupid things out there. Its all about paying attention to your vehicle, those around you, and those ahead of you. 40 years is a long time my friend. Glad it was good for you. I'm sure you could tell us a lot about it.
What a wonderful video i am 3 minutes in and already thinking. You my friend are brilliant. I would like to use this and talk about you in my next podcast? Could i? Take care bro.
Another great episode...cant wait till the next one...yet another 5 star video!!! Keep up the good work and took a moment to think of the fallen driver.
Thanks Newfieguy, I wish I had mentioned something about all of the truckers that die out here each year. I hope a safe trip for everyone, cars, trucks, trains, planes and space shuttles ;)
I'm a little annoyed that youtube further crops my video. I had adjusted it in widescreen format, and I guess youtube did too! Hope you can live through the tiny picture, my apologies.

Your doing great Canuk... maybe you could show some great sunsets or touch on the various types of flatbed freight and what it takes to secure them?
Or how about pointing out some of the differences between Canadian and American truck drivers ey?
Lol drive safe!
