Don't follow those stereotypes that say "All of America is fat and lazy" because those stereotypes are based on the southern style of cooking, where they fry almost everything they eat. That's where fried chicken, and other unhealthy food's are from. And almost all popular fast food chains start in the south, such as Burger King, McDonald's, and KFC. Up in New York where I live, food styles are very different. In my opinion it's much better and healthier food up north.
Root beer isn't vanilla flavored, and hershey is obviously not as good as your european brands. But it's still good. And personally I hate Mcdonald's here in America and ive yet to try it in another country.
Also...Whataburger, as a fast food burger joint, is WAY better than McDonalds, Wendys, Jack in the Box, and Burger King. You will have to come to San Antonio/ Corpus Christi Texas for a Whataburger.
McDonalds sucks in both the UK and here. Ive been over there and tryed your McD and KFC....The McD was the same (except menu items and what yall call them) and it was lame as here. Your KFC was 10X crappier than here, which is saying alot because KFC here sucks too. But one thing about over there that is the worst thing of all....NO ICE IN YOUR DRINK...The KFC not only didnt put any ice in my drink, they had NO ICE at all ....Very strange stuff.
Butterfinger 2 stars?? butterfinger deserves no lower than 3. I would give it a of three and a half or a four because "No one lays a finger on my Butterfinger".
Honestly the first person I have not seen bagging on American foods. As for McDonalds, even being an American, I can't eat their burgers. I wish they would stop existing. They're nasty. I pretty much Agree with all of your other ratings, except Butterfingers. I. Love. Butterfingers.
I guess, he's getting an handsome little guy eh;)! He's so charming and sounds so nice, polite and stuff, lovely, keep the same^_^! Take care! Bye! Ps : Oh, milky way, we also have it in belgium! Btw, I'm not really into those too commercial foods (and products), I prefer good belgium chocolate (as "côte d'or", the belgian's favourite chocolate) as more handwork(?) foods, I also appreciate a good restaurant from time to time, i love to eat chinese, japanese and korean mmh (bibimbap is so good)!
I think it notable and refreshing 0zmovies 'experienced' Vidcon, rather than merely recorded, plenty of vids out there! The style is clearly vlogging, and personal, not filming other people. Are there other styles, more journalistic or filmic, sure. If I.
I hope you did more than stuff candy and handfulls of oversweetened cerial in your mouth while you vacationed in LA.... Where is your review of the conferance? Why no critique on that? and... When you went out to Universal Studios, you did a vid, but, you spent the whole vid, in your car, complaining about American Radio, which only newly arrived immigrants, and religious maniacs listen to. Why no review of Universal? No video of you there on the rides? Did you go at all or just sit in your car?
I don't eat must of this stuff anymore, you will find getting older you can't just continue this bad habit. Hopefully American's can wise up and decide that something need to be done about the obesity in America. Yes, I may eat chips every now and then. Meanly on a monthly basic or sometimes not at all. I can't really remember when the last time I ate stuff like that. I don't go out to fast food restaurants anymore. May be subway if I have eaten anything beforehand. My goal right now is health.
This guys voice is SO annoying, not only that his accent TRULY SUCKS! it's so annoying i HATE the british accent so much i wish brits could NEVER speak they sound like a broken posh record lol SO annoying and this dude sounds like he just woke up lol how LAME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
.. mac donalds is horrible. Born and raised in California..
While your in LA... TRY IN-N-OUT BURGER.
Originally from California .. hands down the best burger ever. It's so popular.. take advantage of it while you're in california. Some ppl get on a plane from new york to cali JUST to eat in-n-out burgers.
my suggestion for in-n-out:
double double burger
fries
if you want ask for fries or burgers to be "animal style"
I think you did a really good job, with lots of details and good expressions on your opinions of American food. I really think maybe you could make it in the food critics industry. Just another opinion! :] It's really cool that you made the best of your stay in America. I actually want to try UK. I would like to visit someday, but...that's such a long way from now. So, all in all, I loved your review. You can be sure I'll be tuning in to your videos! Bye!
Have you ever thought of reviewing the all-you-can-eat pizza or chinese buffet places, cause that's where the mega calories are I don't know if you have them in England?
LOL...I LOVE your review of Butterfinger. You're right. It is repulsive. Absolutely disgusting. I can't figure out how anyone eats that crap. And the "biscuit bits" in Hershey's cookies 'n cream. Nice lingo:) I love hearing your take on American culture. Going to go watch your other food review vid now. BTW...we have Milky Ways here in America, too. It is my favorite candy bar. And the white fluffy stuff is called nougat.
First, I think you did a great job! I have to admit most all of your reviews you are spot on! However, depending on where you were in USA depends on the type of fast food you will find. Second, I wish you would have stayed on just one subject. ie Hambergers or candy. BTW how old are you?
@0zMovies I was introduced to your channel by a friend and enjoy your interviews and food ratings here especially. Believe me Americans could manage to improve some of the food products offered. you are as the othere reader said " Spot on" Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the devious Taco Bell, it is NOT Mexican food. In L.A. try Pollo Loco which is fast food and worth a try. DO the salsa bar if you like spicey.
I dont know why exactly but your videos are fascinating and amazing. I can play this several times and just listen and listen... I love your accent and your calm voice :P
@pirko07 I have had a lot of debates about whether McDonalds brainwashes people or go there by choice, the reality is people like it. McDonalds in Australia has made a lot of changes, going to paper from plastic eg, and more quality beef. People like it even though there are better choices because it gives the satisfaction. The great irony of socialist theory is if you give people choice, they choose what they want, not what they should!
I'm disappointed. You have only tried what we call "junk food". What if I came to the U.K. and only had fish n' chips?? There's a whole continent of ethnic American cuisine awaiting your discriminating palette. I suggest indigenous ingredients: Salmon, okra, stuffed peppers, 1,000 different kinds of chili!!! (I don't know when this was filmed. Obviously, you're still alive and haven't succumbed to the experience!) Rico
This is more like candy review, except McFood, which is not real food. Was not there an authentic restaurant with american cousine in LA? My teacher from gastronomy told me he could not find real bread there so he ate rice and boiled corn whole time during his stay in America. Also he said that there is lot genetically modified foods on store shelves.... p.s. like your vid even I was expecting a "real" food review :)
@pirko07 I wanted to try brands I had seen in movies but not been able to try. Coincidentally nearly all of these were candy. Plus, I'm a teenage boy, candy is a lot more appealing to me :P - also, McDonalds is great. I love that stuff.
@0zMovies I've read (G.Ritzer, "The McDonaldization of society",sociology book published bout 10y ago) that eg. Big Mac in any McDonalds restaurant in the world has the same taste? Also I have to give you a credit because you eat all that non-healthy food, candys and sugar rich drinks and look more like long distance runner than stereotype fast food lover :) I dont recognize many brands that you tried, we dont have them in my country, but if I never taste Butterfingers again it'll be too soon :D
@pirko07 Your teacher did not look very hard for organic meat or artisan bread if he could not find it nor does OZMovies' really look at American food. . . he ate junk.
@pirko07 Well, you can tell him that next time he visits there are stores that specialize in breads and cakes called bakeries as well as organic food stores. There are even chains of some of these stores like Panera and Whole Foods. Best of luck!
@IndigoUndecided Flapjacks here in the UK, are like granola bars, but softer. They're made from oats, butter and honey, and kind of have the consistency of cakes.
Orson please don't judge American food by McDonald standards. Traveling is amazing experiencing all different places have too offer. East coast of US and midwest has better food. whatever you don't try any pizza from California it's God awful. NYC, Philly or Chicago the best
@Thevivian419 Nah, I'm uploading these now that I'm back in London and I can edit them. You should follow me on Twitter, and then you'll know where I am and stuff.
@0zMovies Ye, we've got it in Ireland too but I avoid it like the plague! I tried pork scratches once in England... I almost gagged up my pancreas, lol!
Dear orson I thin you are lucky because you try American Food Test and I think American Food was The testy Food in the All world so enjoy it and I wish you A Good luck for Back to School And About the chocolates it was not Healthy Because its Make you too fat Just and Also burgers Just try Vegetables and Fruits
How could butterfingers only get one star? They're like my fav candy except maybe for reese's peanut butter cups or maybe Twizzlers and while your in America you should try to find a place that has new York style pizza cause it's the best :)
A 'breeosh' is a small flightless bird on the African plains, like an ostrich, known for its ability to kick the crap out of hyenas and its bright orange colouring.
Nice selection! I tried MacDonalds burger in Germany, UK and the US...and I must say the US version tasted somewhat much better and was bigger ( like everything in the US :) )
But Root Beer...uggghh...I tried it once and it was awful. Too sweet and too artificial tasting. But maybe i had just the wrong brand?
Ph-neutral fresh orange juice was a favorite of mine in the US. It's normal pure orange juice but with a single additive that neutralises the acid. Pure genius. You can drink it whenever you like without it corroding your teeth. I wish we had it here in the UK.
when i went out to the us the two things that hooked me were vanilla coke and the american version of mtn dew which is sooooo much better then the crap we get over in the uk.
i think i became a slight addict as well since they were giving it away for free in the coolers at vidcon D: damn the temptations
THOSE HORRID JUMPCUTS !!!!! why does it have to be this way ? change your format with no jumpcuts or ill order the troops to go in , and go in hard till they decapitate you and your jumpcuts
@DHammerr This video is probably my heaviest jump-cut video. It will be less jumpy in the future, but I actually like this style, so it won't slow down much.
@0zMovies whats there to LIKE about JUMPCUTS ? it is so artificial, you think we find your pauses boring ? what about a discussion in real life ? does it annoy you when the other guy youre talking with pauses for a second or two to think about what hes going to say ? i dont think so
Weird English McDonalds don't have mustard, which is quite English. Cream cola sounds like the vanilla root beer, most root have a bit of a yeasty taste. I imagine zero stars is something that makes you physical ill. MyCafe was trialled in our region before taken overseas. Angus Beef is the big burgher at most Aussie fast food outlets.
@Yannis390 Difficult to describe the taste, but it's not alcoholic as the name and look might have you think. It's pretty much vanilla flavoured soda.
McDonald's buns vary by region somewhat, but they're all pretty boring delivery mechanisms for the rest of the burger. Independent burger joints have more interesting options.
There's a reason that a lot of these American food items were never exported. Butterfinger, in particular, is a bit of a running joke. It's considered a very low quality candy bar, and the "chocolate coating" doesn't meet the legal definition of chocolate in many countries.
I remember in England we had to pay extra for ketchup. Like 5 pence or something - and more to eat in instead of walking off.
Too bad you didn't encounter the In N' Out burger with grilled onions. They are famous for never freezing their beef, and they cut their own potatoes (also not frozen).
Since you hate the buns so much -- there's a request to go "Protein Style" or have the burger lettuce wrapped. It really brings out the flavor of the beef.
A year ago i was in France and when the money almost was finish we got to go to a McD, and i didn´t find any diference. Ohhhhhh, only the price: is more expensive.
wth lol butterfingers r the best its not like its solid butter hahaha

I even liked the jump cuts. :) You should try jerky, it kinda looks like a one star...
cesnor 6 months ago
@cesnor Thanks, that means a lot! Oh, and we've got Jerky here in England. I'd say it's about a 1 or 2 star.
0zMovies 6 months ago
@0zMovies Ye, we've got it in Ireland too but I avoid it like the plague! I tried pork scratches once in England... I almost gagged up my pancreas, lol!

But maybe i had just the wrong brand?
brockpierce1984 6 months ago
I would give everything u tried a 5 star. GO FAT AMERICAN FOOD!!!
jackyboy120 6 months ago
Ph-neutral fresh orange juice was a favorite of mine in the US. It's normal pure orange juice but with a single additive that neutralises the acid. Pure genius. You can drink it whenever you like without it corroding your teeth. I wish we had it here in the UK.
ProducerStuartBrown 6 months ago
when i went out to the us the two things that hooked me were vanilla coke and the american version of mtn dew which is sooooo much better then the crap we get over in the uk.
i think i became a slight addict as well since they were giving it away for free in the coolers at vidcon D: damn the temptations

THOSE HORRID JUMPCUTS !!!!! why does it have to be this way ? change your format with no jumpcuts or ill order the troops to go in , and go in hard till they decapitate you and your jumpcuts
DHammerr 6 months ago
@DHammerr This video is probably my heaviest jump-cut video. It will be less jumpy in the future, but I actually like this style, so it won't slow down much.
0zMovies 6 months ago
@0zMovies whats there to LIKE about JUMPCUTS ? it is so artificial, you think we find your pauses boring ? what about a discussion in real life ? does it annoy you when the other guy youre talking with pauses for a second or two to think about what hes going to say ? i dont think so
DHammerr 6 months ago
Weird English McDonalds don't have mustard, which is quite English. Cream cola sounds like the vanilla root beer, most root have a bit of a yeasty taste. I imagine zero stars is something that makes you physical ill. MyCafe was trialled in our region before taken overseas. Angus Beef is the big burgher at most Aussie fast food outlets.
markwhalanaus 6 months ago
have you try creme soda ?
lorddeath202 6 months ago
@lorddeath202 Yeah, we've got Cream Soda here, it's not as popular as it is in the US though.
0zMovies 6 months ago
This might sound sstupid, what is root beer?
Yannis390 6 months ago
@Yannis390 Difficult to describe the taste, but it's not alcoholic as the name and look might have you think. It's pretty much vanilla flavoured soda.
0zMovies 6 months ago
@0zMovies Oh okay, i'd love to try it once but i don't think they have it in my country
Yannis390 6 months ago
@0zMovies You can say Root Beer Is Also Bitter :)

McDonald's buns vary by region somewhat, but they're all pretty boring delivery mechanisms for the rest of the burger. Independent burger joints have more interesting options.
yt3141 6 months ago
if u want to buy imported sweet and drinks try. Cyber Candy there is a shop in Covent Garden, London. best place to buy imported sweets and drinks
edgware2008 6 months ago
There's a reason that a lot of these American food items were never exported. Butterfinger, in particular, is a bit of a running joke. It's considered a very low quality candy bar, and the "chocolate coating" doesn't meet the legal definition of chocolate in many countries.

Unless we were specific about chicken being grain fed, we'd find the poultry in England tasted like fish. Is that still the case?
Giandavide 6 months ago
