I think this all depends on your hair. I can do it with wet hair or dry hair and it always looks pretty much like this (I used to do it before seeing this tutorial) However my friends asked me how I got my hair that way and after telling them, they came back and told me it looked terrible. It depends on your hair and style, like layers. I personally ind this to be a pretty good tutorial ^^

i do this to my hair too, but i only start the waves halfway down, creating a smoother look. its pretty good, and you dont need to use it at the highest temperatures, its good for a casual day with minimal heat. ;)

I read that salt water helps, put some sea salt in water(spray) and spray your 80% dry hair then blow dry and spray again, it gives it a wave that you would get at the beach but it also dries it out so 'moisturize' your hair as well, hoe that helped!

you can buy a curler for 10 dollars and use that to make your hair wavy and look better than when the flat iron is used

you don't even need hair styling products like gel and stuff. they have huge hair spray bottles of tresemme for 3 dollars at target

i work at a place that doesn't like for our hair to look too overdone so i do this more for like a relaxed layed back look, but i see what you mean by using the barrel curler it looks neater and more put together. BUT if your like me and work where i do this is perfect even for a lazy day, when you dont have too much time or even if you go to the beach or pool thats when i do it.

Everyone needs to chill, she has the right idea on what to do with a straightener, and it's true that you can also curl it to make it wavy, but this is easier, if I straighten my bangs and get extra strands when my hair is wavy I do this to them so they blend in with my hair ^_^ I think her mistake was curling the front pieces, but that's all!

the straigtner is called forever. i bought it at the mall but it works better than any straighter i have ever used. chi works well but it damages your hair ( as any other straighner) but the one i have doesnt damage as much and makes hair smooth and silky.
