It also tends to be red because all the blue light gets filtered through the atmosphere and happens when it is on the horrizon mostly. Scary shit happens depending on our perception of reality and how ignorant we are of the so called shit. Keep an open mind that anything is possible but if something seems to be supernatural maybe its just not
