  • I don't know but this guy is just a complete legend.

  • this guy makes my gp look like a right cock

  • outdated.

  • doc ur such an heaven sent..i suffer from hypothordism all my life, your such a help..thanks

  • best doctor ever (: tells so much important information

  • Hi Dr. Hyman! Do you have a brother named buster?

  • Question on kidney failure patients. We know that limiting protein intake to about .6mg/kg is key in those patients. However, they quality of protein must be very high and come from animal sources. it can t be vegitable protein. Would you explain why?

  • Although I greatly respect Dr Hyman and loved his ultramind book, the theory of having to eat 6 small meals a day to speed up metabolism does not hold true across the board.

Various studies have shown Intermittent Fasting and Alternate Day Fasting have great health benefits and fat burning qualities. This is totally opposite of what Dr Hyman is saying in this video. If you don't believe me, just do a google search for yourself.

  • Check "Tai Chi Green Tea Weight loss" on youtube to see some real people losing weight with green tea.

  • I was wondering why you didnt mention green plants like spinach for example as a way to get your protein?. I have heard that we only really need 6% of our calories from protein and protein is in everything...supposedly it is so difficult to not get enough protein that there is no name for a condition of lacking protein...also there is a lot of information out there showing too much protein is the source of many problems. Could you address?

  • People shifted to frequent, low fat, big in the mornig small in the evening meals two decades ago. The result of that kind of eating pattern is our modern fat suciety.

  • Thank you!!!! For being an integrative medical practitioner... who speaks truth and is out there promoting self help and healing!!! I wish you were in Australia.,... so I could refer my clients to you, and receive referrals from you!! (i am an exercise physiologist).

I love your words of wisdom... i keep referring clients to you clips! Yeow!

    Peace,

    Fiona

  • this man talks faster

    i can hear him

  • You are terrific! MAHALO from Hawaii!

  • mark..... HYMEN

    HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, rotfl (LITERALLY)

  • I'm going to drink green tea. Right. NOW! :)

  • Oh hai, You should try That new intellectus 424 diet (Google the name). Me and my wife lost crazy amounts of excess weight it is the best diet I have ever tried.

  • He has a high metabolism

Thermogenics. Thanks to green tea. Making him sweat

  • why is he sweating so much?!?!?!

  • you suck

  • great info thanks

  • this guy!! i feel like i owe him all ur doctors money. he just keeps giving 4 nothing. SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You have an amazing ability to consistently smile :D

  • "Experts" always contradict each other. There are others that say pretty much the opposite of this guru, other than green tea. In that case most agree.

  • This stuff is 50% retarded.

Increase protein through nuts and seeds, eggs, poultry and fish? Those are high fats foods. Other than the nuts and seeds they will fill your body with saturated fats, cholesterol, toxins and dangerous animal proteins.

Low fat diets don´t work? That´s a joke. Ask any sports physiologist. Increase your avegarge fat intake over 10% calories and lose performance.

This folk won´t definitely solve your health problems. Try Barnard, McDougall or Esselstyn instead.

  • @Coenzyme911 What are you talking about... eggs don't have toxins, neither does fish or poultry those are both healthy good proteins... and "dangerous animal proteins" what the hell are you talking about? Animal proteins aren't dangerous.

    ur the retarded one.

  • i was wondering what he actually eats

  • thnx dude....finally ive found the solution....

  • but white tea has more antioxidants than green tea, so doesn't that make it a better option than green tea?

  • i love this guy....he has a book out and hes not even trying to advertise it just giving us free information....id buy his book just because of that fact

  • because green tea has caffine. Does this mean we should not drink that much

  • @m1a2k3o A pharmacist told me that the caffeine in green tea is not the same as that in coffee, and is actually beneficial, so drink decaffeinated coffe but don't worry too much about tea

  • Overall I think he's right about what he's saying, but he's way off base lumping all carbs into his statement. Eliminating simplex carbs helps you lose weight fast and they aren't good for you. Complex carbs - from whole foods - do not keep you heavy at all. It's the things like wonder bread, and the big helpings of mashed potatoes that are the big issue. Whole grains like millet, wild rice, quinoa & veggies are where the vitamins are and they keep you slim and keep blood sugar levels stable!

  • Thanks for the video! Awesome!!!

  • funny you know all this yet you dont look all that healthy at all

  • @generalgeonocide another youtube moron i see..

  • Thanks so much...very helpful

  • Thanks for the great work...

  • green tea is loaded with fluorine.

    What about that?

  • @KirkMcLoren never heard before, do you have reference?

  • hehehe, you look like bob saget.

  • @sweetberrys94 OMG I WAS JUST THINKING THAT! lol

  • Lionels devil he just uses surveys and studies as examples not proof

  • Sorry sir, but there are 2 points of criticism that I have to give you:

1st: Saying that changing your food intake will selectively burn the fat from where you want it is VERY inappropriate. The most problematic areas (belly, behind, thighs) are problematic because they are the golden fat reserves of the body.

2nd: Please, do not use studies or surveys as your proof, it decreases your credibility, just try to use simple biology to do so. (You can thank teleshopping for discreditating studies)

  • @LionelsDevil studies he is using is from one of the well known medical journals. don't forget that most of our health care benefits advantages and disadvantages do come from these studies. We highly rely on these studies because this is the only way you could tell if something is working or not. And yes, changing your food intake will help with your belly fat, there are certain food that targets your belly fat.

  • @bhuri02 : Any fat loss regimen will `help`you lose belly fat. People seem to avoid the èxercise`word. They are looking for a magic bullet. They don`t exist. It is about calories in my experience. Only when I have a good balance between my caloric intake and expenditure, by being resonably active, will my weight be stable and healthy. Low-fat, high carb has always been good to me!

  • how in the *&% did u fit all that info in 8 min

  • @thallious9876 I think that's why he's the doc.

  • Once I didn't eat for 3 hours before bed, like Dr Hyman suggested; then my stomach started to rumble, so I had one slice of toast.

  • I love eating big meals raely, and I love eating late though!

  • For my supplements I use iherb.com. They have very good price, fast shipping, great service. Use ZAY467 on first order to get $5 off.

  • doesn't have to be green tea. catechin is found in white, yellow, and in a lower concentration in black tea. you can also find it in cacao nuts, and other food. Green tea craze is a commercial phenomenon, a make a quick buck for the businessmen for the mass who thinks drinking a magic potion is going to help them lose weigh and be slim.

It is not that hard, calories in and calories out -- watch your food intake and exercise regularly. just have to make an effort doing it, it not magic.

  • Are you saying green tea doesn't work??

  • @t5e2 you wanted to sound smart but you sounded quite dumb.Havent u understood that "calorie in calorie out" is not the only or best way to loose wait?are u still stuck there?do u really believe that 1000 calories from proteins have the same effect on fat and weightloss as 1000 calories from cabs?what about the thermic effect of food?what about glycogen and insulin?from personal experience i can tell that even the time in witch u eat makes a difference.a calorie is not just a a calorie

  • @geiuy You can't expect me to take your reply seriously -- too many spelling errors. Try again.

  • @geiuy well,id like to see you write in italian without using a translator,im not english.the reason u wont reply is because you actually dont know what to say,you are ignorant on the subject so next time just stfu,ah ah

  • Peanuts are actually in the Bean family well as Cashews.

  • What's wrong with a steak and cheese diet? It is high in protein.

  • amazing. thanks.

  • i have a formula to lower u col n u fat in 2 months., any takers?

  • Yeah, I'll take it

  • He looks like a door to door salesman but he talks sense.

  • Think- Calories in vs calories out. Watch how much b4 bed (when sitting around doing nothing & then going 2 bed - not expending many calories). Think Protein & Non-Starchy Vegetables (no potatoes) & healthy Fats. (peanut butter is good - watch it before bed - i cut it out - was easily consuming too many calories. I just eat 4 eggs w/ only 2 yolk before bed. about 200 calories.) Breakfast about 600 calories. 6 hours later - Lunch about 600 calories. then right before bed.

    truthknowledge. Com

  • Can you provide the references for these studies that you talk about? I'd like to read them for myself!

  • @sandbar3000

doesnt needed! Study biologie and chemistry ,then you can solve it yourself

  • amazing, thank you so much !

  • is black tea beneficial in any way?

  • I can see Dr. Phils book on the shelf

  • Thank you Dr. Mark Hyman for helping us out with you great knowledge.

  • great info. concise, thanks for helping us all learn more ways to improve our health.

  • I think i love you...

Dr. mark hyman is the best!

  • I thought 'omega 3' eggs aren't good? because they usually feed the chickens low quality omega 3 sources that have already been oxidized, and they're highly perishable and don't last and long as the regular organic, free range eggs that aren't omega 3 enhanced..

  • That's what I thought too!!

  • Well, you CAN think for yourself too.
