I knew a guy growing up who had a 67 Malibu 4-door that ran 10's but looked like it belonged to an eldely woman. Only thing that gave it away way some ET street slicks but even those had a white wall painted on to fool most. The hub caps were attached with a self tapping screw into custom wheels so they didnt fly off. It had 6 mufflers, 3 on each side so it was quiet as a mouse when it pulled up next to you or rev'd. He had a manual valve cord he pulled to switch to open headers. Had to see it.

@burton76 wrong that car is 4150 lb's and it runs 10's with about 600 h.p on the juice... i know this car and it has already ran 193 @ 128....do some homework guys....power to weight ratio!!! that motor used to be in a nova that ran in the nines.....

them 62 impalas fly. my dad had a 327/300 hp. So it said, it was a special high performance with factory performance exhaust, who knows what the horsepower was. He didnt have a problem rippin up some LT1 camaros back in the day. That was before he replaced the bad points and gave it a full tune up

them 62 impalas fly. my dad had a 327/300 hp. So it said, it was a special high performance with factory performance exhaust, who knows what the horsepower was. He didnt have a problem rippin up some LT1 camaros back in the day. That was before he replaced the bad points and gave it a full tune up
