Thats-right,, Koffi,,,although,I dont understand Lingala,But,,I still feel you guys,,,,,,I like you all, I feel the secound to the last ,and the last brother, most.that sing last before the master Koffi share what he has in his store to us,,

Well, Living in Los Angeles since I moved from London, This is what I mainly listen to at outrageous decibels through the streets of Beverly Hills, they have come to represent makossa or soukous in a way that the charm of Africa as a place is something that Feel with each verse, The meaning of the words seize to matter, but the rhythm and patterns are forever plastered in my memory, Long Live L'continent Du Afrique
my brother i could not agree with you more. africans are the only people who sing in face of disaster. I have always said that african people have a spirtual gift for rythm, and look at it here in full demonstration. we produce natural singers like the bees produce honey. and what sweetness this melodius euphonius singing is, its sensous seduces the ears!!!!!!!
Oh yes, Africans have a feel for rhythm. I tell you a brief experience: I attended Koffi's live concert in Yaounde in 1999---at one point, as we were drowned in dancing, we suddenly realised when the music stopped that the instruments had stopped several minutes before. We were actually dancing to the voice--fabulously rhythmic--of one of the singers. We didn't realise it until the end.
Somebody please translate the chorus for this song. The boys can really let out some sweet voices. Melodic indeed, please someone? Thank you. I can only pick up three Swahili words (Amekimbia = he/she has ran)Piga makofi =clap ur hands. Bless
It's seems that our congolese brothers are not so keen to translate any of their music to us.I also did ask anyone of them to translate or write for me the first few verse of the song "nostalgie" by werrrason, but todate i have no response.
Pls we do enjoy the music and it would be nice i they help us understand it.Guess we sailing on the same boat.
I like the idea that Koffi has taken all these young guys to show their talent and help them out to be the future Koffiz as hez getting old..Well done guys-are'nt they cute??
damn Koffi is Africa's greatest..and Im proud he is from my country..Not so many people could just sing and praise one person like that..Aint no bigger African than Koffi..can I get a word on that
love it. well done, and whoever who post this video, you're the best. I want to know where would I be able to buy Koffi Olomide CD and DVD. I live in British Colombia Canada. Any idea?
yeah, I get them all from an african store here in Los Angeles or in the E street market in London, well, reply with an address and I will send u the danger de mort dvd, In good faith that when U recieve it, u will send my $15.
