Alright so I need some advice here, I do lifting exercises for my biceps and triceps almost on a daily basis, and ive gained a lof of mass in those areas. However, when I cross my arms, looking at them from the side, they look very skinny. Is there any way I can gain mass to "widen" my arm?

@Neekatron na dude working out at an early age actually helps stimulate growth and helps long term in bone and muscle strength but if you were to lift to heavy and hurt yourself that could possibly stunt a childs growth. children 12 and under should stick mainly to bodyweight exercises and seated row for back gradually bringing in weighted exercises.

my point is that is the number of biceps sets added to back excercises.. because i think 4 sets of back is not enough while it includes 4 biceps. [and back cant be done without biceps] so it would be back[8sets] + biceps[4] per week right?

i'm not a professional, but my coach told me, MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME... 4 sets of PURE efficient work on biceps is better than doing 100 sets of regular bicep work. you really gotta curl until your muscles feel like dying, and if so, try to get 3 extra reps. im not joking it boooooosts ur strength up so fast, it's QUALITY effort work..

Hi Sean, I have a question for you and I hope you'll answer it. So, I'm doin' 4 sets per week for my arms when I'm working with low volume(5-7 reps), but I'm doin' 2 times per week with 2 sets, so in the end of week taht's 4 sets. When I'm workin' out with high volume, for me it's 10-12 reps, is it ok to do 3 sets of those twice per week, that's 6 sets. Is that ok, cuz I'm doin' upper and lower body part split and I'm goin' to gym 3 times per week, so I can do muscle stimulate twice per week. :)

Not for nothing but if you want bigger arms you are gonna need to work them out twice a week. Do that for a month and a half and you'll notice a big difference, it worked for me at least. What this guy is saying and what i wrote might not work for everyone. Everyones body is different so what works for me might not work for you, same goes for this video. You gotta get to know your body through trail and error.
I don't feel like his advice will give you large arms. Seems like just basic arm workout but what if you want to target the arms and make them large? Like really focus on the arms.
The most sound advice I have ever heard regarding the building of muscular arms. Ive been doing exactly this for the past several months and have seen a huge advance in my arm size. The same can be said for other body parts also. Just keep it simple and learn to train smarter. Nice post Sir!

This progrm works for ppl who have a life and hav a tight schedule like me. Cardio should be done 3x's a week for 15-20 minutes at moderate-intense levels,choice of day is up to you.
The other part of equation is supplements and rest,I CANNOT STRESS THIS FACT ENOUGH, REST, REST, REST. MUSCLES NEED TO RECOVER AND THAT'S WHEN THEY ACTUALLY GROW, NOT AT THE GYM.
Day 4 - Back and Legs - use all the compound exercises such as deadlifts, squats, leg presses and calf raises on squat rack and sitting down.
Day 5 -Shoulders, Tri's and traps - military press, shoulder press,2 sets each for posterior delts, anterior delts and side reaises(use light weight here and increase reps 12-15 each) and 2 ex's for traps
* Abs should be done on days you workout ure Legs and add 2 more days for a total of 3x's a week(they also need rest to grow stronger)

question!!!! y wont my forearms get bigger! i do ALOT of curls AND hammer curls so y wont my forearms grow at the same rate me biceps are!!?

am not sure if 4sets is enuf for each bi and tris.thou the guy speaks sense mostly.i think there no need for heavy arm training coz ur already train them hard with chest and back.so moderate weight,concentrating on the squeeze,plus ten to 15reps seem to make my arms grow.also perfoming mostly single arm movements are best coz of the muscle mind link seems better.althou ad perform skull crushers.supersets with single bi curl & single bhind head tri press,skull crushers & concentrations.

@01jonnybhoy it is enough, the more you do, the more u keep ripping muscles and it will take longer to heal.
i'm not a professional, but my coach told me, MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME... 4 sets of PURE efficient work on biceps is better than doing 100 sets of regular bicep work. you really gotta curl until your muscles feel like dying, and if so, try to get 3 extra reps. im not joking it boooooosts ur strength up so fast, it's QUALITY effort work..

@fatvictor159 im not sure why you ONLY get triceps build up. But the tricep muscle is a lot bigger then your bicep muscle so thats a big reason.

@kio414 i had a some weights a few years ago like when i was 11. they were about 100 pounds combined, they were too heave for me. but now 100 pounds would be easy to lift now that im older and stronger.

@the1hero1of1time well if you run your losing water mostly.. and until you lose alot of water you will see that you will lose body fat and so losing that water will make you think that your losing muscle but really its just water

Hi Sean, I have a question for you and I hope you'll answer it. So, I'm doin' 4 sets per week for my arms when I'm working with low volume(5-7 reps), but I'm doin' 2 times per week with 2 sets, so in the end of week taht's 4 sets. When I'm workin' out with high volume, for me it's 10-12 reps, is it ok to do 3 sets of those twice per week, that's 6 sets. Is that ok, cuz I'm doin' upper and lower body part split and I'm goin' to gym 3 times per week, so I can do muscle stimulate twice per week. :)

Not for nothing but if you want bigger arms you are gonna need to work them out twice a week. Do that for a month and a half and you'll notice a big difference, it worked for me at least. What this guy is saying and what i wrote might not work for everyone. Everyones body is different so what works for me might not work for you, same goes for this video. You gotta get to know your body through trail and error.

The most sound advice I have ever heard regarding the building of muscular arms. Ive been doing exactly this for the past several months and have seen a huge advance in my arm size. The same can be said for other body parts also. Just keep it simple and learn to train smarter. Nice post Sir!

This progrm works for ppl who have a life and hav a tight schedule like me. Cardio should be done 3x's a week for 15-20 minutes at moderate-intense levels,choice of day is up to you.
The other part of equation is supplements and rest,I CANNOT STRESS THIS FACT ENOUGH, REST, REST, REST. MUSCLES NEED TO RECOVER AND THAT'S WHEN THEY ACTUALLY GROW, NOT AT THE GYM.
DIET AND SLEEP IS ALSO A CRUCIAL FACTOR.
DIET&SLEEP(REST)=60%
GYM WORKOUT = 15%
SUPPLEMENTATION(NOT FRIKEN STEROIDS) = 5%
PATIENCE =20%

Day 2- rest
Day 4 - Back and Legs - use all the compound exercises such as deadlifts, squats, leg presses and calf raises on squat rack and sitting down.
Day 5 -Shoulders, Tri's and traps - military press, shoulder press,2 sets each for posterior delts, anterior delts and side reaises(use light weight here and increase reps 12-15 each) and 2 ex's for traps
* Abs should be done on days you workout ure Legs and add 2 more days for a total of 3x's a week(they also need rest to grow stronger)
