I still have this on VHS. Stiller was great back then--not so much anymore. Didn't he make this in college or something? I first saw this on his very short lived MTV comedy sketch show back in '89/'90 (few yrs before his prime time show in the mid 90s). I love the Werewolves of London part and his "Wince" tshirt. Makes absolutely no sense unless you've seen The Hustler/Color of Money. Thanks for uploading
I'm so glad as least there is one copy of this for people to see. I have a video of this and love watching it. The actors involved are some of the first times I have seen them and later they went on to be involved in movies and even TV series. It is great!
I thought it was Ben Stiller in this clip but i thought no it cant be. I had no idea he did stuff like this.... i thought he was just in the movies. Very good parody and he parodies vincent very well.
this is so spot on perfect and creative and hilarious i absolutely loved it! have been a huge fan of that move and the hustler for decades. thanks for posting.
i haven't seen this since it ran on snl but i've thought of it many times over the years.i love the color of money and thought of this every time i've watched it.i had no idea ben stiller played vince, naturally. this is great stuff, thanks.another clip viewed again thanks to the magic of the internet and you tube.
Fans of this may be interested to know how it was made. After graduating film school, Stiller was in the cast of a revival of The House Of The Blue Leaves in NYC in 1986. He impressed the rest of the cast with his talent & got several of them to be in this, notably John Mahoney, as well as Danny Aiello ("Gentlemen roll your balls"), & Julie Hagerty ("did you notice you were hooking your spares"), as well as his mother Ann. This short led to Stiller being hired by SNL and later his MTV show.
Like many, I had a VHS of this from SNL. Perhaps the BEST movie parody ever done on that show & the beginning of Stiller's obsessive Cruise impression.
My god, thank you! It has been a search of years ending right here on this beautiful page!! So many times this video has been posted and deleted but you have succeeded! I remember seeing this on SNL when I was just a kid. My dad loved playing pool and had shown me this movie over and over again in my youth. When I first saw it over 15 years ago, I nearly crapped my little pants! Gaylord Focker and Frasier's dad are superb!
'Because sometimes a famous director, two big stars, and alot of cash just isn't good enough."
Stiller's first breakthrough after NYU, the short that got him on SNL. John Mahoney should have worn a mustache to look more like Newman, but still a mini-classic.
Yeah!! I've been looking for this for years! I'm guessing you'd have to have seen "The Color of Money" to get most of the parody but wow...thanks to whomever posted this. You made my day!
3:22 Matt Fowler!

Is that Frasier's dad? Meh, that wasn't that funny. The only joke in there was about Cruise's smile.

"Don't try to hustle me, Eddie. This stuff tastes like moose sweat." You can't pull a con on Anne Meara, Eddie.

@otisbroth I think it was supposed to be making fun of Paul Newman's brand of dressing.

I think 2:10 when his face gets real red is one of the funniest scenes ever. I could watch and laugh over that over and over.
Thanks Ben Stiller.
