I agree, an ODST movie would be at least 20x better than one based around the "Spartans", 30x better if they make it about Master Douche.

It's no fun watching a movie if you know the main character is some super-soldier who can't lose for some reason, has no real personality, and the way they explain his awesomeness is "Oh, it's not that his better than the other Spartans, he was just luckier than they were. Too bad."

I agree they should start off with an ODST movie and then like at the end have the cheif come in and say some epic line like how halo 2 ended and then they can do a movie about the cheif. The cheif is really complicated you have to be one gutsy director to take on a halo movie it is such a complex story line. no matter which perspective you look at it from. I think alot of directors are scared because they will have all the fans watching and they will have to get it right the 1st time.
