DSi also has that shop where you can download things to put on your DSi (So far I've heard that the internet is only application there). To be honest, I say I would've bought this if they add the damn GBA slot, but putting the R4 out was expected, I mean if I were Ninendo, the first thing I would do was kick R4 out. Too bad for us though. Anyway, DSi is just a waste of money, so kids, keep your cash for the future.

Anyways there are only couple of difference towards DS, DS lite, towards DSi. DSi cannot, CANNOT play GBA games (meaning no Guitar Hero, No Pokemon Migrating) (which was expected, they needed more space for the system afterall). DSi CANNOT play R4. DSi CAN take photos and have some fun around with them. DSi CAN listen to tunes. DSi CAN go on the internet (but SUCKS), without the DS card.

Yes, I saw. Beleive, me, this is a scam to rip little kids off. The intended use of this system was to kick the use of the R4. I'm sure everyone heard of that. Since then, Nintendo was seriouly loses tons of profit and sales. Tell me, would you buy a DS game after you just bought a R4? i read on another video, Yes! the DSi is original-ds-game compatible! no matter ds or DSi, kirby for the original ds would work in the new DSi. hope this helped with any problem you might have had!
