@foxdyewolves If yours is like mine it doesn't have oil ports. If you can see the shaft from the back of the motor, mine you can't, you can drip some oil there and in the front down the shaft behind the blade. If you can't see the rear shaft you'll have to take the motor apart. You can use Zoom Spout oil or 3 in 1 in the blue can.If you need any more help you can go to DT Vintage Fans.
Might be I type of Lasko, I have 2 Lasko box fans from the 50's that both have RMR motors and those look like early Lasko style blades so I think it's a Lasko.I can do some more checking and let you know if I can get a match.
I have found out that it really is an Berns Air King because of the shape and it has lakewood blades on it so it could have been a lakewood altogether
Yep, definatly a Lasko. My have had sideline name of General Deluxe, as most of the metal blade models from that era had. Very good fans. One of my first came from my Grandmother back around 1979. That's about how long I've been working on them and probably had 200 or so laskos in that time.
Yep im pretty sure thats a Lasko. I also have an older Lasko with the same motor mounting, but plastic blades. I have seen those blades on an older Lasko on ebay too.
your front grate is not orginal your fan is a old lasko it has the same moter mount as my 70's lasko nice old box fan or it could be a eskimo they used the same mounting systm to your blade im not sure weather is orginal or not probly is all you need is the orginal front grate
Thanks,I'd say it's a lasko because most 2 speed eskimos I've seen have a push button switch.I don't know where the grate is.My Papa Bud put that one on there.I think I'll leave it on there.
or it could be a toast master so many fan names one body style someone could of replaced the switch at one time but it looks orginal to me i miss having all my old box fans
I have a fan just like that one mine is a Galaxy and i think its from the 50's or 60's
but it looks almost just the same but diff. face mine still runs but i need to clean and or oil the motor plz help?....
