This plasma is only around 2500C (though it can get hotter), it will melt/break pyrex and high-grade ceramic if you let it gain more strength, and ozone and nitrogen dioxide are created.
Plasma IS ionized gas, don't confuse it for anything else. It also reacts to a magnetic field. Any superconductive material in a microwave will produce similar results.
ok ok as you know there are 5 states in wich matter can be found and not 3 its just that solid, liquid and gas states are the most common on earth but there is also plasma wich is created when the temperature reaches 1500000°C aprox and because of this it only can be found in stars but humans have created substances that shares some characteristics of plasma so it called plasma but is not real plasma.the 5 state is the bose-einstein condensation but its only a theory because its too cold to exist
@espejel92 Wait what? Superconductors doesen't exist? ... No comment.
And about plasma: All it requires is a gas being ionized by heat. Common static or electrical sparks are plasma, and behaved the same, but not true thermal plasma since there is a clear electrical component to the ionization.
that cant be plasma , plasma can only be found at the sun and at the stars(the sun is a star) because it is created at 15000000 °C, but i dont really know what is that, its just energy, but it cant be plasma, plasma TV isnt plasma too, its just Zenon and Neon gas with electricity, to produce color, similar to plasma but not plasma...
Actualy plasma can be found on Earth and man made plasma can actualy be as cold as 4,000 degrees farenheit, not to mention that wether it be energy, chemicle,or electrical plasma is realy the defining variables.
I hope you will take the time to watch my overdone video, and duplicate my experiments. It is possible you may have the one tool I don't have the money for right now, a non-contact thermometer with a range that ends at 3000°C
That's almost as cool as a liquid center golf ball in a microwave. ;) [My first experiment when Microwave ovens first came out for household use in like '71]
Interesting, It seems to behave just like a bubble in a liquid.

puting your camera in the microwave doesnt destroy it?

I think plasma is when its too hot for atoms to stay together and you have nuclii and free electrons together as a gas.
This here is an ionized gas, which is similar, but the atoms are not losing ALL of there electrons, so it not a plasma.(<guess)

well i may not be too smart but isnt it in your blood
Hyperjudd 4 years ago
its not that kind its a substance called plasma in our blood
dianaamor92 3 years ago
the "plasma" in our blood just helps to carry our blood and stuff around our body.
DirectConnection1 3 years ago
I didnt say what it did i just said the relation because of the names. and you say just like thats not important

@espejel92 but it actually exists.

its a type of gas. iv done it before you need a head of a spoon and somting eles i cant remeber right now but all it is is a bright cloud of gas

You act like you know what you're talking about, yet you spell Xenon as Zenon.
HiDefAmp 4 years ago
and you may have notice that you only speak one language. its not my fault tha "Xenon" in spanish is Zenon and i know what i´m talking about

Too bad we couldnt harness that energy at all. But what does a cup of water and some suger do? and what about a golf ball?
Dirky20100 4 years ago
Are you asking what the stuff at the top of the jar is? If so, the asnwer is plasma. Duh. It's said about fifteen times in the comments alone.

what u do...u slice grape in half...dry it out...slice it in half again but leave a tiny piece of the skin intact on the 2nd cut...

Heh, The old n grape in the microwave trick, another fun one involves a lil sugar and a cup of water..
