i love the song and the video. i've watched the movie a hundred times and i never stopped loving it. i have been deeply moved by the movie. it opened up my heart and mind to know more about myself and to accept myself better. i am thankful that an extraordinary movie such as DEsert Hearts was created. thank JT for this.

[Someone posted this link on IMDb] Thanks for an excellent job. I gives a nice flashback to my first viewing in a theatre (I've never seen quite so many patrons tiptoeing in and out of a film after the lights went down.) Maybe you can give some of the footage in BOYS DON'T CRY a similar distillation? I worked as an extra on a show directed by Shaver...heard just her voice first and up popped the image. Very distinctive.

I can just picture those people sneaking into watch it! Which makes Donna Deitch so much more of a heroine - to make a film at a time when people felt they had to do that. It was ground breaking! You're so lucky to have met her and yes such a distincitive and beautiful voice! I have watced Boys Don't Cry but not as much as Desert Hearts, but I won't rule it out of my thoughts for a new vid! Yep,no eyes like not-quite-all-the-way-OUT-yet furtive eyes. PERSONAL BEST first helped me figure myself out. They used the eye-to-eye arm wrestling scene for the first TV spots and my mind immediately went "Uh,oh...that's it!" BOYS is a lot tougher to watch multiple times, but I think you will find it a fertile field of great kissing shots and tentative glances. There's probably a perfect song waiting...I'm thinking that Alicia Keys 'No One' would be great to cut images to.
