For Syracuse to become a bowl bound team every year the following things will need to happen:
1. Syracuse needs to get a coach who can both COACH and RECRUIT very well.
2. Syracuse needs to get money and build a 50,000-60,000 outside football stadium. This would help so much with recruiting and gameday atmosphere. Most players would prefer to get fresh air in their lungs on a crisp, fall day.
@theone2225 Amen to that! I take back those comments I made three years ago. Doug Marrone is a great coach who is going to recruit and do very, very well. In fact, I predict him to become Syracuse's best coaching hire since Jim Boeheim. The dude knows what he is doing and, most importantly, bleeds orange. Best of luck!
Somebody responded to my question the other day, and I totally agree with what this person had to say. For Greg's job to be saved after the 2007, he will need to at least go .500. And, if he does that but no better, 2008 will be bowl or bust for him. Who agrees?

Theres no such thing as a crisp fall day in Syracuse, its either extremely hot or bitter cold.

Haha yep.
Anyone that says we need an outdoor stadium has never had the pleasure of enjoying an Upstate NY Fall/Winter.
