I was thinking the same thing. Let's say he didn't have sexual intercourse with young boys. Taking showers with young boys is just as bad and very disturbing and if he thinks taking a shower with a child is harmless, what else in his judgment does he think is harmless.

Amendola claims many of the kids will deny wrong doing. Given a voracious media that is certain to reveal the identity of the victims plus the societal stigma of getting ass raped, Sandusky's lawyer is probably right. But some of the witnesses and victims are going to hold fast and that will cage this predator for the rest of his life.

Meaning: Where is the public's outrage at how sports have become an *obsession* in American life -- monetarily as well as psychologically?

@norb1937 Scared? Costas was very intricate with his questions and prepared for this interview. He put Sandusky in a very awkward and uncomfortable position for answering while remaining completely professional. Sandusky is the scared one and rightfully so.

@SeoulSon51 Perhaps I'm too biased against Costas. I used to watch Tom Snyder who had esoteric material on his show. Then they cut his show short and put Costas on. I railed against this, saying who the hell is this guy. He must be politically connected or something. I never did get to like Costas. Then I was for proving that Sandusky was guilty. After some of his victims and their parents came forward I was against Sandusky. He reminded me of a guy in the 50s who rode around with young boys.

@norb1937 I remember when Costas used to cover the NBA Finals and I always enjoyed it. Then again I was very young. Not saying I'm a fan, just never had a problem with him. I thought he did well in the Sandusky interview though. After that interview, it is completely obvious Sandusky is a monster who is guilty. I hope he gets life.

@SeoulSon51 Back in the 50's we used to have this queer named Blachfoot who used to ride around in his new Ford , he got one every year, with young boys. He would let one of them drive while he was blowing all the rest. I dont know what happened to Blachfoot. Maybe he got old and died. He used to live with some Cop.

Seems like he just evaporated with the 50's.
