No. They killed it. It has nothing to do with introducing anything to Americans, it has nothing to do with it being in English or featuring white guys. It has everything with getting the story wrong, getting the spirit of the story wrong and basically ruining all the fun from the original series in order to make the original "one up" series...more epic.

they fucking ruined the dragonball, dbz, and dbgt anime..... wow..... what the fuck...... this movie sucks..... none of the characters look anything like the anime characters and the visual effects are all wrong..... on top of that kami made the earths dragonballs........ the director of this movie is a fuck-tard that probably hasnt even seen db or dbz........FUCK THIS MOVIE.......

lol yeah well i watched it a couple days ago online, and it wasnt really that bad lol

it was different but it was a well made movie...altho as a little kid i always dreamed that they would make a DBZ movie, but this isnt how i expected it to be, but it wasnt that bad lol
