Hey, I was gonna buy a Droid Incredible that is fully flashed to Metro PCS for $85 from a friend, is that a good deal ? I'm not used to droids. I work with iPhones and iDevices only. He said he just got the EVO 3D so he is selling it for so cheap. It's in really good condition. He has Metro PCS himself. All components work and stuff. What do you think? Is it worth the 85$ (Gonna be an upgrade from my keyocera torino that cost me $20 from the store, lol)

@bardaso yes u can use the droid on metro even with a bad esn. a full flash should include data/mms/and apps
you got to remember tho, metro doesnt offer full flash, u would have to find a flasher in your aread i would recommend use a flasher to open your account and do the full flash, it will save you around 20 bux

Bad esn means the phone is on the lost/stolen list and the original carrier will NOT take it off unless the owner provides the correct user information. YES you can flash a phone with a bad esn to metro/cricket/page+. Flashing is for making a cdma phone like sprint or verizon (with no sim) work with another cdma company metro/cricket/p+, unlocking is making a gsm phone like T-mobile or At&t(with sim cards) work with any sim card company
@Ch1cORi0s heres a secret for u guys!! metro changed their password now instead of putting metropcs as password, use ur spc number. google android white rabbit there u can get ur spc number
@la2nena2paula i never use metro for any of my phones, i do it all myself. Like i stated before metro workers dont even hve a clue to fully flash android phones. theres a lot of work in getting everything to work on all the androids but of course
its worth it! i love my droid, you have to root, custom recovery image, install custom rom, back up original rom just in case, change ppp pim evdo prl nam. and after all that i usually run a program i bought and it sets the rest up for mms and apps to work......now do u think metro will train its worker
The phone was updated to 2.2 but i rooted and downgraded to 2.1 since most roms are made for 2.1 so i would recommend you root and downgrade to 2.1 stock! re root and flash custom rom.
