This is the most beautiful and sad part of the film. Dali knows he needs to be around Lorca but he's so confused. He's so young. He's never been with a girl let alone knowing how to be with a guy. I'm sure this wasn't covered by his father. Parents just didn't speak of sex. When Lorca kisses him he just knows, somehow, that's over the line and he draws back. Lorca is more comfortable with his homosexuality. Gentle and in love. He knows he's in love. . .Dali. . no. RP's look is sharp.

@Animesungirl According to Dali, their friendship was tragic because he couldn't feel the same way Lorca felt, but he only refers to the sexual part. Apparently, according to Ian Gibson, Dali's heterosexuality is something to think about a lot

Soon it's exactly one year since this movie became my favorite movie of all times. Honestly, no kidding. June 8 2009 I saw this movie in London, and I cried so hard my eyes were bleeding. My heart was bleeding. It's still bleeding when I see it. This movie is sheer brilliance - perfection.

I'm still trying to figure out the emotions here. I wonder what the director suggested to Robert on how he should act after the kiss. Until then he seems hungry for it, then hesitants when F comes very close. He didn't break it off but at the very end, he looks like he almost hates F. He gives him some tea as a peace offering I think and he obviously still wants him or he wouldn't have immediately turned and put his hand on the door. Those laughing voices are the key somehow. What do you think?
