I remember this show. I remember that one of the characters invited another to kiss his "Brussels Sprouts", a rip-off of "Alice"'s Flo's "kiss mah grits" catchphrase. I saw all four episodes and outside of a blatantly racist ballplayer making a crack about calling for a vote and deeming it fair because the Black player had a say (and being told to shut up), I watched all four shows, but that is the sum total of my memories. Oh, yes! Russell threw a "ball" at theme's end, so said the umpire.

I emailed Bouton about 10 years ago off his website and asked him if he had any footage of it and he said no and he burned them all.

Thanx. I liked that theme song. Show was mediocre, though. Mistake putting Bouton as an actor at the center of it. WOULD make a good movie now.
Even remember the name of the fictional team, The Washington Americans.
