Got an assignment at school to choose an artist to write about, so i chose Bruce. Just had to get some inspiration so this song is perfect for that! This guy is a LEGEND!
over rated, sobrevalorado, igual que U2... Un plasta de tío, pero ahora parece que está de moda....... no creative, no imagination, bad songwritter....why don´t you try Donovan, Cat Stevens, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Vashti Bunyan, Neil Young.......
I can't say this is his best, so many to choose, lets jus pray he continues along this vein of thought, close your eyes he can paint you a picture with his words!! Thanks for the memories Bruce (Glory Days)
Still my favorite Springsteen album, an album that marked a turning point in his musical style. I know many fans still love his 70s era music the best, but I will take the more accessible music he has made for most of the past 30 years.
"Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is is something worse?" One of the greatest lyrics ever written.
"...I go down to the river though I know the river is dry..." has to be one of the most evocative lyrics ever written, surely it must sum up countless peoples lives on a daily basis.
I have a request. A piano arrangement Rick Wakeman's "The Prisoner" from the No Earthly Connection album. You can find it here on youtube. I would be extremely impressed if you could transcribe that.

@giantmidget08 i got my answer you are stupid... he does nothing for nj except create lousy music..crime poverty..drugs..and bruces favorite PROSTUTION all in atlantic city and asbury park..also yuppie asshole bruce removed his music from rhapsody..why?? why?? not rich enough asshole.. hey boss do a benifit for nj..asshole..have a great thanksgiving.......
If you want to hear a good acoustic version then head over to my youtube page, the picture quality isn't very good but it sounds great. Well worth a listen!
its only when you sit down and listen to all bruces albums, this guys incredible talent, so diverse, incredible, always hear america in bruces songs, an incredible country with a magic like no other, surely no country as much as the usa has been celebrated and i suppose criticised in song, have visited nyc 2 times now and have just fallen in love with the city and its people, "walk on" from ireland
