Is road runner turbo with power boost worth it? It's 39.89 monthly it says at the site, but why is the standard worth more? Is it faster than the turbo?
@TheRealKryptonian I live in Queen NY and have RR turbo but never heard of powerboost until today. From what i researched, it boosts my download when needed. But what about upload? Will it boost that when needed too (because I need it for my gaming consoles)
@the1randomdud3 It's worth it until your speed drops out of nowhere and they explain to you that you paid for speeds "up to" whatever. That's not a guarantee you'll get 20mbs, just possibly "up to" those speeds. If it only gets up to 10.5mbs, you're getting "what you paid for". Then the extra $10 is just being thrown away. That's what happened to me and I "downgraded" to non-turbo, so I was paying for what I was getting WITH turbo; barely above 10mbs! lol
what part of Nyc are you from man? i just movied to manhattan upper west side and was about to get Roud runner turbo with power boost. hoping to get these results.
