Martha Graham was a genius. She made beautiful dances that expressed emotion. Human emotion isnt always beautiful, but she one said, "ugly, if given a strong voice, can be beautiful." We shouldn't be saying mean things to eachother or commenting mean things. Instead, we should be watching and trying to understand what is the deep and complex goddess of dance that Martha Graham is.

@BlaineCobban I wouldn't compare this to modern day dancing. Unless you're talking about modern dance, which I highly doubt you were doing, since they're basically doing modern right here. But if you're talking about Hip-Hop, just don't. They're two completely different styles and can't really be compared. To me though, they're both very aesthetically pleasing, so I don't take kindly to anyone bashing on dance in general, although you probably didn't mean it like that. Just saying.
