Ah! Wonderful! I had a cornsnake named Maize, as well (well, Mazie). I miss her, but we can't have them where we live now :(

I was very moved by your slide show and background music. You obviously have a great deal of love for your absolutely beautiful snake.

I mentioned in another of your videos that I was considering getting a corn snake. I am curious where you got yours from; store or breeder? And what color morph is Maize? He/she has such perfect coloring. How old was Maize when you got him/her?

Thank you for the generous compliment. I actually bought Maize from a nearby Petsmart..she was the only normal in a bunch of snow corns. Maize is known as a normal morph corn. I'm not sure on the age but I am guessing she was about 1 or 2 months when I got her..She's about 1 year and 4 months old now..

I actually face the same problem with my boyfriend. He is extremely scared of snakes and only lets me have them because he known he never has to touch them. I take care of all their needs and do my best to keep away from him when I'm handling them. I'm sure you two will come to some kind of agreement :0)

Regarding you and your boyfriend, that's what I would call role reversal and I am not at all sexist.

I am in "negotiations" and begging with my wife over the snake. I may have to take her on a cruise or something of that magnitude. But like they say, "nothing ventured nothing gained."

Thank you. I'm not a big fan of cruises; I prefer flying to a destination and enjoying the the sights and attractions of the area. However, a cruise is a small price to pay for her "letting" me get a snake.
