why have a hymn like Nearer my God to thee playing during the images of these soldiers? The Wehrmacht had as many nazi types in it as the waffen ss did. Don't make the mistake of thinking one outfit was better than the other... The problem with buidling such a monument is that it would also be honoring the Nuremburg Laws, boycotts of Jewish businesses, Kristalnacht atrocities, seizure of Jewish homes and businesses, T4 Euthanasia program, the holocaust, the atrocities in the USSR, etc.
