I read some of the comments here, yes it is correst that Raju Lama is in New York, I saw him about few weeks back. But just because he has not gone back to Nepal does not mean that he has no right to sing a song like this. Singing is a talent and I believe he has that in him. As someone mentioned here "Patriotism" comes from within, it is not something that you need to show off. I believe most people who have written here are outside Nepal, does that mean we are not patriotic?

Hey dude! India became independent at 1900s. Nepal was never part of India, never ever and never it became nonindependent nation. India was taken by British and so was China controlled. But however Nepal the small country in middle never lost its 1 inch of land. Nepal has been Nepal even before Indians had the sense of nationality, about 2000 years ago.

Thanks. Raju Lama's (?) voice is much refined, and sounds excellent. But he could have done better with the video- nepal ko garibi, khet ma kaam garda garda thakeka anuhar haru, jhutro jhamro lagayera pani hasiraheka man haru- gau bhanjyang, danda kanda, chiya bagan, kheta bagan, pani dekhayeko bhaye it would be an excellent video- true to its words- mero nepal. But the one part where he takes the flag and runs on a barren land gripped my heart- very emotional. Proud to be a Nepali.
