this happened because child abuse crap. if a kid will not sit still and listen; don't give them a drug, give them some olde fasion medacine meaning a good ol slap in the face. it worked for hundreds of years, and now thats wrong, but its ok to turn them into zombies. BRING BACK CHILD ABUSE and CHILD LABOR. they will be to tired to act out and will grow up to be a productive member of society!

A child who can't sit still could be having difficulties at home, simply be undisciplined through habit, interested in life more than he is in what the teacher has to say, .....

All I can say is that a schizophrenic family member would still be institutionalized if it wasnt for his medications. Does that mean everyone suffering from psychological distress should be medicated? Of course not! but things should be put into perspective.
I hope people see this documentary and realized how biased it is. Sure, psychiatry is not a perfect science, but that's to be expected when dealing with the human mind. Many of the sufferers of the most biologically based psychiatric illnesses can tell you that they've benefited from drugs.
Psychiatry is not a science at all, and it therefore is opinion based rather than fact based. I guess your the trusting pill pusher type. Good for you. Go have a combination of psychedelic drugs and narcotics, and see what happens. I do agree, that some people were helped with drugs.
However, you cant disagree that because ''a child cant sit still for longer than 15 minutes'' the kid should use drugs.
