  • the definition of music

  • The video reminds me of The Designer's Republic.

    RIP tDR.

  • Where can I find this? The website leads nowhere.

  • Anyone know who the songs by?

    me needs some enlightenmentship.

  • I'd have to agree with the people saying this isn't breakcore. Breakcore is more about completely screwing with a breakbeat that has been sped up. This is more dealing with making weird glitch sounds and such. Very IDM.

    Still a great track though.

  • Like Autechre/Aphex Twin? I'd love to know some examples.

  • Genre semantics is just a way for record companies to make more money.

  • thay may be true

    but it's simply capitalism

and symbolic rebellion won't change that

    try reading marx ;)

(also: try noch misunderstanding marx like lenin and almost all communists did)

  • Not a terribly huge fan of Marx. To be frank, I found his views a tad short sighted. Oh well, to each his own.

But alas, you are correct. Capitalism is the engine that runs the US. All we need to do is stop feeding it. (If only it were that easy, right?)

  • his views on how to overcome capitalism really are too authoritarian. but as the guy who analyzed capitalism he should not be underestimated. the analysis is not about who is bad or good but about how capitalism works on an abstract level. and i think without understanding just that, there is no chance of combining "overcoming capitalism" _and_ "making things better"

US: i'm from germany but there's not that much difference. all market and ideological bullshit.

  • Deutchland ehrlich? Ich bin in Muenchen geboren, aber jetzt wohne ich in Amerika. Wo wohnst du?

Du typst shon sehr gute Englisch.

  • No, wtf are you talking about? The US economy is so ruled and regulated by the government that it hardly has anything to do with capitalism anymore. Everybody is employed instead of self employed, wages are low, prices are high. None of this happens because of capitalism, it's because the government has created a handful of monopolistic megacorps who exorcise nearly total control over the US economy with patents and copyrights. Real capitalism doesn't come with patents or copyrights.

  • 1. Prove that the corporations were created by the Government.

    2. Prove that our current system is not capitalism.

    3. Prove that "real capitalism" would be a better system.

  • 1. Corporations don't exist w/o licensing approval by government. And companies are regulated in every way by law.

    2. The top 1% largest companies in the US generate 72% of GDP. A hundred years ago 80% of the people were self employed. Now it's only about 8%.

    3. Real capitalism means more prosperity and less disparity. No more IP. No more getting rich from unjust monopolies. No more bail outs. Cheaper health care. Cheaper drugs. A poorer upper class, a richer middle class and no more poverty.

  • 1. The fact the corporations need authorization from the government does not mean the government created them. Try again.

    2. Prove the lack of self-employment is not capitalism.

    3. Explain why. Why would real capitalism make these things happen? What do you mean by real capitalism?

  • 1. No, think again. Anything that cannot be created without licensing, authorization, approval, appointment, or acknowledgment by the government is essentially created by the government. The fact that you disagree with me doesn't mean I'm wrong.

    2. Because capitalism creates opportunity, it doesn't destroy it.

    3. Capitalism doesn't _make_ things happen, it *allows* things to happen. Governments _make_ things happen.

  • 1. That's a logical fallacy. If you can't make noodles without water, it doesn't mean the water made the noodles, humans did.

    2. Prove that self employment creates more opportunity than our current system. Prove that capitalism creates opportunity.

    3. Why would pure capitalism *allow* cheaper healthcare, freedom from monopolies, and remove the need for companies to be bailed out?

  • 1. You only need water to cook noodles, not to create them. Noodles are create from eggs, with eggs, by eggs. Likewise, corporations are created from government, with government, by government.

    2. I can't prove it. But I've explained it well enough by now that anyone with an IQ above their shoe size should grasp my point.

    3. Because that what capitalism means. Go ahead, ask my why again. lol

  • 1. You can't just take my metaphor and do anything you want with it. Based on the construction of that post, it is clear that the government is the water. If you want to create an example to support the principal of your beliefs, create your own instead of attempting to turn mine around.

    2. You have explained nothing. You have restated what is essentially the same belief and provided no supporting facts, or connective ideas. Implying that I'd have to be stupid not to understand will not work.

  • 3. The definition of capitalism, then, is to cheapen healthcare, and eliminate monopolies, and make companies healthier? This sounds an awful lot like regulation to me. But since I'm assuming that's not what you mean, I will invite you to give me any reason to believe that capitalism will accomplish these things, because at this point, you have not.

  • @RandomTask3000 He's referring to competition. Maybe you think that doesn't work in practice or whatever but that's how capitalism works in theory.

  • totally not breakcore at all its more like dotcom-idm-bull-genre-core... i kid. ill track.

  • cool ass tune but i think its electronica

  • Sweet, but not breakcore. 100% not breakcore. Very idmish

  • Awesome upload

    Very impressive.

  • WHATS UP MADAFAKA!

  • the ceiling, airplanes, you know the usual :D

  • nice visuals

  • before you start judging learn how to say things correctly, thanks.

  • nah, this music does not have anything in common with my sentences, so why bother

  • Because if you want to judge something it really helps if you have the respect of the people who like it

  • i judge it, because its not my style, and in my opinion this music is bullcrap, then i don't need respect from people who do like this music, i allready got them from the people who agree with my style

  • I didnt say you need respect, just that it helps ... people are a lot less likely to get irate. Oh yeah, your style would be?

  • maybe i typed it wrong, i dont need the respect, no, and i don't got a style, i can come into every music, as long as its nice, and shit like this wont even itch my ass

  • then...leave? :D

  • Awesome song! Whats the name of this artist and the title of this song?? Could someone send it to me :) ?

    Good video too!

  • not breakcore, not IDM, its EXPERIMENTAL ELECTRONIC. don't make this a set genre.

  • ObsoleteSystems: Only omnipotent people have the power to assign genres! BEGONE HEATHEN!!!!

Seriously though, who's to say what the fuck breakcore is or isn't but the artist creating it? End of discussion.

... and this sounds a bit hard for IDM ;)

  • umm..this is more IDM than anything...hardly breakcore...

  • IDM yes, but there are breakcore elements to it. Hardly a good comment.
