  • Where my bitch? She needs a back hand.

  • This is beautiful !!!!

  • I like to imagine myself bossin down the street holding a jazz flute playing this..... While pelvic thrusting.....

  • Yes, I prefer non-electronic music, but some folks seem to like it.

  • Absolute Sex

  • N!!!CE

  • Now i know my favorite Music style :)

  • this makes me want to plan a diamond heist

  • I uploaded an entirely electronic "ambient acid jazz." It just depends on how you use electronics. The synthesized sax still has plenty of emotion. It is a bit more relaxed than this too, lol.

  • It's possible to make nice music with electronics, but it's never worth of real, human played music. You can't hear the emotion, the playing skills, the joy of playing together with a band, even any misstakes, in electronic music. It's just cold and synthetic shadow of its idol.

  • @elguitarr1sta electronic sampling and tones can add a new level of atmosphere and feeling to music. many people seem to think electronic stuff just makes itself. people actually have to manipulate it.

  • omg, i've been looking for this for ages! thanks for uploading!! :D

  • This is the Sky TV Guide tune :)

  • go fullscreen and move ur head b&f :X

  • @SeeZarful yeah it works, nice one :D Full warp speed please Mr. Data!

  • i can imagine myself walking down the streets in a purple pimp suit

just walking for hours... with this music in the background

  • @Kermitpan in slow motion of course

  • @Kermitpan anti gay black power black panter

  • Makes me visualize a high speed ride on the #2 subway train in New York City. Cool!

  • eargasm

  • Love it! This is one of my favorite songs to ride too!

  • repetative yet hypnotic ^_^

  • !!! FANTASTICO !!!

  • the problem with making electronic music is that u have to plan every single thing you put on tape in advance. there's little room for improvising or taking advantage of "being in the moment"

  • @mrdemon1 oh you are so wrong man. search for Beardyman on you tube, especially his live performances.

  • Jazz flute is for little fairy boys.

  • @oldvoljin I am a little fairy boy ! %D

  • Wow! Who is it by?

  • oh my ears my earsss..aaahhhhh

  • This is soooo so beautiful. Why is acid jazz called acid jazz ?

  • at 4:20 rapidly move your scroll bar up and down while keeping the video in view. :)-~

  • repeat button: 00:00

  • I love Acid Jazz. Jazz too. But I don't really know many Acid Jazz artists so I can't listen to alot of stuff like this. Anyone reading this comments want to suggest some good stuff to me?

  • @meirus try wikipedia, man! Just type in "acid jazz musicians" and it's the first link that it will produce

  • Don't be misled by the title! This is not Herbie Mann on the flute, its Edoard Labor, french saxophone and flute player who recorded for Ludovic Navarre on this album.

  • wow this is cool! i am a flute player myself. I want to find some free jazz sheetmusic online, do you have any suggestions?

  • well, not everybody understands acid jazz

  • acid jazz is just annoying and boring

it's much much much too long

    qu'est-ce qu'on se fait chier mdr !

  • @zslash99 I was about to say you have no taste, but then I opened your profile and saw you liked Portishead - Glory Box... then I started to like you.

  • @Maynard0504

Maynard, you're kind to me but u know it's not because it's called "something jazz" or whatever that it sounds that good.

Stop smoking bad ganja my dude and please go hear something incredible there, something that we use to call jazz, just jazz pure jazz simply jazz or... music if you prefer !

Type: "Cantelope Island One Night With Blue Note" and tell me :)

  • @zslash99

typically there for musicians that fuckhead

  • this is kind of awesome, in the other hand, as far as I know, it has nothing to do with Herbie Mann.

  • Flute has never been so bad-ass

  • I wasn't asking, I was telling! Now go and put the kettle on....

  • this was on SNATCH!

  • THIS MUSIC IS VERY AWESOME !!!

  • The vibe is high on this track baby !

  • ACID JAZZ =D MUY BUENO..

  • que buen tema...

  • Is so groovy, best flute jazz.... GREAT!!!!!!!

  • This is definitive Ian Andersons flute

  • die richtung gefällt mir,oh ja

  • This is a cadence of Jetro Tull!

  • @guruartist It's significantly pre-dates Tull/Anderson

  • Fuck it ends so abruptly...i don't want it to stop

  • Is this the same dude from the Snatch soundtrack?

  • Awesome.....

  • cool so much.

  • There is nothing wrong with electronics, in the music. When saxophone appeard on the scene in the beginning of 19ties, people like yourself were complaining that its not good. Why? When the jazz developed it has become more sophysticated, than anything. Let the electronics to make their way in sophystication.

  • I think I'm starting to agree with you. Actually, it wa electronics that saved the flute from oblivion - brought it more into the mainstream. With electronics it could now be heard above other band instruments (sax, drums, guitar, etc.).

  • @jazzflutist This is definitive Ian Andersons flute, is´nt it?!

  • @LonelyWalker11 I totally agree with that, except that for some reason, it seems like most people who use electronics have the tendency of making bad music (i.e house, dubstep, etc.). It's really a shame because electronics, when used well, can be absolutely awesome.

  • mate i started coming in the late 80's man look up Acid House, Chicago House & Guru Josh

  • you must mean in the late 80s? Acid House etc

  • @LonelyWalker11 people are affraid of change

  • Great Herbie Mann!

  • Move those feet

  • Yes, St. Germain does great things but the question is:

Where is he? He has not done any music in about 8 years.

I hope he is not injecting himself in some trashy paris hotel

  • No, he was foolish enough to put himself in a place where laying down music tracks would be challenging to say the least.

    He died in 2003.

  • hehe yeah, Ron Burgundy.

  • Ron Burgundy?

  • saweeet ddduuuuuddddddeeeeeee

  • Great music, but that image makes me brägenklödderich :)

  • Damn, that's good stuff. Great energy, very raw. Hits you right between the shoulders! Seven and a half minutes, and I can't help but pay attention to each one.

  • that means that you have the memory of a fish, 3 seconds. mostly the same jingle's

  • so raw

  • PERFECT ALBUM from St.Germmain and a GREAT track

  • Love this one!

  • Comment removed

  • lol this is a picture

  • This sounds similar to a piece of music I heard in the film snatch, when they're walking down the hallway with flickering lights...

  • Herbaliser - The sensual woman

  • @skagseth - What a tune! Lyrics are class :L Love a bit of Acidjazz in the evenings, chills me right down.

  • Solomon Grundy want pants too!

  • this video reminds me of last weekend :-|

  • without jazz there is no house, acid .........

  • zischt voll in die Birne !

  • perfect background for it too. Trippy!

  • That's Edouard Labor on flute, according to the liner notes, so I'm not sure why Herbie Mann is included in the YouTube title. Still, nice track - I chill to the CD every now and again.

  • sounds like ron burgundy, yazz flute!

  • joo will eat dis ca' poo'!

  • So cool! St. Germain. I listened this 8 years ago. I still listen it now.

  • oh YEAH! VERY NICE!
