  • i'm in love.... hahaha exellent cover....

  • perfect :B , i loove this cover :D you're amazing :)

  • everyone needs to shut up about the angles, this guy is amazing at what he does, the angle of the camera does not make him any better, Let me just start off and comment about the way you play *like ppl r supposed too* this is one of the best piano covers EVER, keep it up, you will go far, never give up!!!!!! :D very talented

  • @yahoobrotha Thanks, glad you like it!!

  • You're amaaazing! :)

  • @LaurenRichardsonTV Thanks so much Lauren!! :)

  • can you PLEASE do a cover of bridge over troubled water by simon and garfunkel?

  • @ticklemypickleeater3 Thanks for the suggestion! I made a note to try to do that in the future :) It's a great song!

  • Soo good!

  • @twizzlers929 Thank you!! So glad you like it!

  • Great music! And I like the camera angles. It is good to see the performer every now and then. I always seem to get a few pops and clicks in the sound track of your videos.....

    maybe it's me?

  • @MarcsFarce Thanks! Glad you like the angles. And you're right, I have some consistent clipping issues in my videos. That's one of the reasons I'm going to switch to an electronic keyboard for awhile - so I'll get better audio quality, as I can record straight to the computer. The Yamaha P155 I'm planning to use has four-layer sampling so the notes sound much more realistic than most keyboards. I'm hoping it sounds great when I have it set up!

  • You're such an amazing pianist!!!

  • @froglips51 Thank you so much! If you ever have requests for videos just let me know!

  • luv the new approach! and its no surprise that you are getting so many views! you are super talented!

  • @TheVoiceofLyndra Thank you so much! I really appreciate how everyone has been sharing my videos - it's so exciting to see how my channel is really growing!

  • Awesome! Sounds greattt(:

  • @GloryToHisName2 Thanks so much!

  • Hi! Super nice) Thank you)

  • @Valeri171 Thanks!! :)

  • heyy is awesome!! (:

  • @HNBoy21 Thank you! So glad you like it!

  • It is a good start, but two angles hardly counts as "multiple". If you want to get a really good setup, but don't have a cameraman/friend available, try recording yourself playing the song about 30ish times, but put the camera at some new angle every time. Watch them all, even the ones you may possibly mess up on, and choose the shots you think are best. I like the direction you are headed and I am a big fan of your music. Please keep playing and posting! :)

  • @DaneAgathon Thanks for the suggestion! Definitely a good way to approach it - although it is hard for me to play to a recording perfectly haha if I'm trying to show my hands in multiple angles, recorded at different times. However, I'll be hopefully getting set up in a basement studio soon that will allow me to have three or four piano angles at once, so I should have true "multiple" angle videos ;) The main constraint then will be how much time I have to edit my videos...

  • Definitely with all the angles, dude. It looks more professional and more like a cool performance, instead of looking like you're giving piano lessons. Just a thought. Good job, though. Looking forward to seeing you again.

  • @DizzyDopey1 Thanks man! Glad you like it. I'm excited to try to really step up my game on YouTube. It's just a bit challenging with all the demands of school! Haha...I'm in 21 credits this semester and it's super crazy. I had 12 credits last semester of easy classes so I'm like going nuts now. But yeah looking forward to seeing you too! I'll be out that way in May it looks like :)

  • The piano playing sounds good as usual and about the different angles it looks nice. Its always a good idea to change up how you're recorded.

  • @avivaciousvocalist Thanks! Glad you liked it. Would love to hear any other suggestions if you have them!

  • I agree that multiple shots help viewers know your feeling more when playing the song. you should add more angles and focus on your face a little bit more :)

  • @blackkidX Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked multiple angles. I am planning to add even more angles and will definitely try to show the expression as much as I can. I will probably add some fun like pedal shots too or random things like that :)

  • I love watching the expressions of people who get into their music. It draws you more into the song as you can see their love of their creation.

  • @wynginit Thank you! Glad to know that you like seeing that :) It takes a lot more time to make the videos that way, but glad to know it's worth it! Hopefully I'll be able to make more and more videos that way as time goes on...

  • Tutorial please? :) If you could maybe record it so we can see both of your hands? That way I think people who want to learn it will be able to see what notes each part starts on :)

  • @Ix3SDGL Good idea :) I'll try to have more angles in videos so that hopefully you can see the keys better. I'm starting to do so many covers that I probably won't be able to do tutorials for every song, but I will probably start doing tutorials for my most popular covers. I might put them up on my website too so people can watch them there. I'll post about it on Facebook once I do that :)

  • Dude. i think the angles can be improved. Like a angle showing your entire face and expressions. Maybe from the top as well. a panning shot is quite nice too in my opinion.

  • @yhtapmesm All great ideas, and thanks for the feedback. I would love to do panning shots! Probably right now I won't get that much - except for like full-fledged music videos (which I'm planning to do, but those will be like once every couple months since I'll need people to help me film them). Anyway I might have a fully legit one like that by like March...I have a song planned (an original) for that, and a guest artist, so it will be sweet...

  • @jasonlyleblack Brilliantly epically AWESOME! Looking forward to them already! (: On another note, what kind of piano tones do you personally prefer? Clean clear/sharp tones, or mellow etc?

  • I think the extra angles add more feeling. What you really need is a camera man, one camera fixed on your hands, the other for more movement. But more important than the video to me is the audio, I would focus on making that great first.

  • @Preachisword Yes I like those ideas, and thanks for the feedback. If you look at my last comment I talked about my plans to have some panning shots in a music video I want to make in the next few months - the issue is needing camera people as you said. But, for now, I agree that I'm trying to get the audio quality improved. Have you heard my Evanescence cover I just uploaded? It is an electronic keyboard but is much better recording quality overall.

  • is this give your heart a break?

  • @awesomeness2571 Sorry I didn't put the title in - it's Give Your Heart a Break :) I was so focused on just asking for feedback on the video style...do the video and sound seem off to you at all? What do you think of the extra angles? is it any better or just whatever?

  • @jasonlyleblack i think it's quite cool

    and i liked it actually!

  • which song was this?

    together?
