That sounds really nice on a Hammond organ. What were the drawbar registrations that you used when you played that hymn on that Hammond organ? Maybe I would like to try that on a Hammond b3 organ myself one day.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (Jan.4), we sang this as the Hymn of the Day. It is #295 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. We sang it because the Gospel for today was John 1:1-18. Just thought I'd share.
im organist for the local methodist church, when i got there they didnt know this, so we sang the first verse antiphonal style (i sang a line then they echoed it) then we sang the next two verses together. It's a great song focused on the deity of Christ...love it
Your cats are pretty peppy for such an early hour, but so are mine. They often wake me up at 3 a.m. So does playing at that hour make you more relaxed to sleep?
the calico is an early riser, she likes to push her nose into our faces in the wee hours of the morning to get us up. the tabby is nocturnal, he likes to bat his toys around in the middle of the night. yes, this is my way of relaxing and meditating. how many cats do u have?
Good Morning! Hope you slept ok now that Christmas is over. I have 2 cats. Both are short-haired domestic and orange. One is showing his age but very well behaved. The other is 3 years old and is a little hyper. They pull my hair in the morning to let me know it's time to eat. Anywhere from 4 a.m to 7 a.m. Well I'm off to church to try to find some folders to file music. Have a good day!
