I Love Entrepreneurship because if you see something that needs to be fixed or done better, you can throw your hat into the arena and go and compete against it. As usual it is easier to complain and criticize than it is to get up off your butt and go create the solution. Congrats to Debra Lee for rising to the position of CEO and for academically succeeding. Bob Johnson has accomplished something great with BET. Does that mean that I agree with the programming? Not all of it, but the content has a target market. If you don't know what target market is then look it up, but it does not include every black person. Now, how do you feel the tv should raise your kid.

Then, someone comes along and tries to teach individuals that the way they have been living their lives is affecting their community in a negative way and that person is laughed at by those who are suffering from their own devices. So what happens? The group doing the laughing ends up being the group that everybody else is laughing at because they refuse to see the faults in the way they are doing things. Then the cycle starts all over again.

Maybe because we are not sitting our kids down and educating them on sex, and their sexuality. So, what is being displayed through BET is nothing more than the failure of generations of black folks past to educate the next generation on what is acceptable behavior as people in a society. So you have a bunch of young men who thing having bitches and hoes is what makes them men, and a bunch of young women who think that having a boo and all that drama is what makes them grown women.
