@wxsty This is a common misconception. Kobe's hands are actually quite large, just not as large as MJ's. I guarantee that his hands are bigger than most guys' hands, and he can certainly palm the ball. The reason he missed it was because in order for him to catch it he had to lose sight of the basket for a second. Therefore, when he turned around to try to dunk it, his prediction of the location of the basket was off by a little bit.
