This just breaks my heart. I have a bleeding disorder as well (VonWillibrand's disease) and I've capped out multiple insurance plans. I've now been deemed uninsurable. How can the people in this country who trumpet arguments against a national healthcare plan sleep at night. Your fellow citizens, fellow human beings, are suffering. We lose sleep, lose our homes, live in fear, and suffer needless pain, all so you can protect us from "socialism"?
I am 20, I have Sever Hemophilia A (8) and to be honest, this just scared the crap out of me. I was kicked off my Moms insurance when I was 18. I was put on BCMH which will cover me til I am 21. I just got a full time job and while I was going over the benefits I saw that my lifetime cap will be $2,000,000.00. This is a real issue and I can't believe people just don't see how bad it can and will be. I wish the Wilkes Family my best and hope that everything works out for them.
