This had to be the Feb 25, 1970 return of the Lai Khe base to the Vietnamese. I can remember moving a large Vietnamese family out of the area since they were afaid that the ARVN's could no longer hold Lai Khe, the former headquarters of the 1st Inf Div and also my unit, Company I, 75th Rangers.
