OK. I drove them all. And In my opinion when the guy said it's almost a sec slower then Porsche 0-60 but the noise makes up for it. Clearly shows they are full of shit. I bet the comfort would make a better choice then being lapped 5 sec faster. BMW is great car but after Porsche or GTR it's a joke in comparison. And the fun factor that M3 sells for $55,400 - $67,050 more like $67 for loaded model & insurance costing almost double that of GTR & 991TT because it's M3 how is that for comparison?

I don't know about you but I've owned & still own Porsches no more Bmmers. It's not stupid visit any insurance agent & tell them you're looking for policy for M3, GTR or 997TT see what they say.

I reside in Los Angeles CA & just for that reason alone my insurance is 3 times more then rest of Cali.

My M3 was $3400 per year daily driver full coverage policy with clean record. My 996TT X50 $2900 same full coverage with same & very reputable insurance company. Insurance goes by zip code as well on top of car's overall record, car's value & luxury only plays part of it.

Trust me insurance for M3 is no joke. Thats a FACT.

I don't know about this video. My personal opinion of it, is I think it's a biased seeming one. People who spend 50-150k on a sportscar normally don't care about how it drives on the roads (unless they're the kind that want to say, 'HEY LOOK AT WHAT MONEY I WASTED, JACK IT WHEN I PARK IT'). Since when does cargo room, interior room, on-road driveability matter for a near purpose built sports car? These sort of tests should be be called 'which is easier to live with.'

Here's the thing about the M3, you could cruise at triple digits (referring to MPH) and not even notice it.

The M3 is great all around, but if you're looking for a track car the GTR would out perform the M3 in most areas except drivability (by that I mean comfort level for the driver) .

For those who have never driven a GTR before the video is pretty on key about it being not as comfortable for a daily driver.

Trust me the car was designed to handle a track more than it was to handle more realistic situation such as cruising on mountain roads, or even the autobahn in general.

The M3 is just a beast, with a giant teddy bear inside. It covers all aspects of luxury, and gives you all the comfort and performance you need.

Stop crying like little girls! The GTR is a great car but it has many downfalls, for one it Boring to drive and the stylying is shit. The porsche is awesome but way too expensive and hard to control. The M3 is perfectly priced, it's one of the best handling cars ever made and it's fun to drive. For everyone complaining about the 0-60 times. The M3 has done 4.1 0-60 and stock also these cars have been able to do 12.3 in the 1/4 stock!!!. Im almost positive the m3 is capable even faster times.

A nice car isnt all about going super fast. I just sold a 550rwhp 08 z06 for my 08 dct m3, and I'm very happy with my decision. The z06 was an absolute blast to drive; it was obviously quicker and more agile around a track, BUT it was a crappy DD. The m3 is a great DD and with the press of a button it is one of the most fun cars I've ever driven on the street. I know I compared a z06 to an m3 and not a GTR/Turbo, but I think it is a similar comparison.
