Britain wasn't half affected as some country's like Greece for example.
Its only because Labour was in power at the time, I wonder what conservatives would have done if the recession had happened if they'd been in power and thank God that Labour was in power other wise the amount of poor people would be extremely sad.

So - with Cameron relying on a strategy thats not working, a set of policies that risk the economic recovery and a reliance on style that the public are seeing through this election is opening up. Cameron can compress the most words into the smallest idea of any man I know!! Last night saw Gordon win hands down on substance, Nick Clegg showing some style and David Cameron failing to make the transition from 90 second soundbites to 90 minute substance.

Brown caused the recession by changing financial structures. The FSA are useless, Brown caused the worst recession since 1921. The only reason Labour gets any votes is they rely on the stupid.

He will bring back foxhunting, destroy the BBC, deepen the recession he has misjudged from day one, help out his rich mates with tax breaks and hang out with racists and homophobes in Europe . He is the party for the few and not the many.
