I never had XBL live when halo 2 was out but i played a shit ton of lan at my friends house and i gotta say the new halo reach mlg with zero bloom and no sprint feels alot like halo 2. at least more than halo 3 did. halo 3 sucks balls. i dont understand why people like it. it has amazing maps but the non-hitscan BR is SO BAD
hopefully they make halo 2 again but without all of the reach gameplay system and no jetpacks and stuff just the original i remember when I first bought this game.
halo reach is different and may not appeal to you, and it's not my favorite either...but when it comes down to it, it's perfect for competitive play. when it comes to competitive play, it's all about the teamwork. you can have all the individual skill you want, but it doesn't make you good. That's why good players will tell you 1v1s don't prove shit, nor do gigantic multis on noobs/subpar players. Halo Reach is pretty much 100% teamwork, making it a different, but good game.
Halo was the reason I bought an xbox. Halo 1 on XBC = epic. Halo 2 on XBL = amazing. Halo 3 = not so good. Halo: Reach = GARBAGE TRASH. Reach ruined the Halo series for me.
Please remake Halo 2. Please. Same graphics, same gameplay, same glitches. You could be better than the game itself. BxR, double shot, need I say more? NO video game has ever come close to this, if i could go back in time i would tell bungie of the huge mistake they are making and tell them just to bring new maps out instead of bringing more games out. I was pro (am british) top 2 in FFA and my team played str8 rippin and stk and even won a couple times. My 2v2 team was also 2nd in the UK and 10th in the world.. Good times.

Last, but not least, for those bitching about the multikill quality there was no theater mode in Halo 2 so its doubtful this was their best stuff... fucking noobs

whoever is saying these arent the ogres, ur an idiot. if you were actualy in the scene in 04-05 you would have seen this montage the day it came out. this was pre patch, so flying melees were more crucial and 4 shotting was alot more difficult than in post. plus this game was still new to some, doubleshotting wasnt even discovered yet. look at the people they are playing with, but you probably wouldnt recognize old high tier players. take a fuckin history class.

One can play it offline with LAN and split screen. One can play campaign and other fun offline games like exploring maps and finding hidden or camouflaged images. Also some of us think it will be back online within a few years. It's not dead only in a slight slumber until those in charge of it wake up and see the potential it still has.

halo 1 was better than all the halo's cuz there was no xboxlive to talk shit over. halo 1 brought people together ; lan was the only option beisdes "xbc" . nothing was more fun than getting together with all the homeboy's and playing bloodglutch ctf games that lasted for 3 hours with people going like 254 and 90 not to mention you could drive with the flag in h1.......i love that gm...... h2 = fast paced = h3 = slow boring standoffs but more strats and garb... i need to get in a lan....

@BlueEliminator1 Why would one R.I.P. Halo 2 when it's not dead? Some would like us to think its dead but it's far from it! It's online with PC, Kai,and Connect. One can play it offline with LAN and split screen. One can play campaign and other fun offline games like exploring maps and finding hidden or camouflaged images. Also some of us think it will be back online within a few years. It's not dead only in a slight slumber until those in charge of it wake up and see the potential it still has.

that is the real ogres btw... the game play might not be as special as what u see today and the clips in gun shots tage and that is b/c this is from back in 05 and 06, and prolly one of the first ever montages. And if u look at the names they kill in this tage, almost ever single one was a pro back then

lol fatalattraktion or w/e your name is saying that this montage is like 03 old. halo 2 wasn't even out in 03. most ppl who are posting on this don't have a clue about anything. this montage was made in 2005, before many button glitches were discovered (you can see both of them use YY at the end of reloads, that's about it) this montage was epic when it came out because the game was still new.. and they were the best so that made it 2x better watching ppl play who were top of the leaderboards

This montage isn't looked at as good now, but at least decent. This was before any button-glitch was discovered. So for wen this was released, this montage was great. Oh and someone said this isnt the real Ogre 1 montage? He's playing with Zyos and Hotshy (Walshy,) Im about 99% positive its the real Ogre 1.
