@tclol in fact, in it's first battle in... I think it was series 7 of Robot Wars, it was flipped.... By Bigger Brother, however it was 2 go through. Typhoon 2 was saved as it was the last robot Bigger Brother Immobilized in that battle... There are better full body spinners around in battle bots anyways, I think Hypnodisc or Razer would be more interesting but Razer is retired and has been replaced by Warhead... which is kinda a hypnodisc clone...

@lpool1996moh9 Personally I'd love to see Razer in action, but most robots are hobby builds... well pretty much all. There is no major funding behind it over all... some sponsorship happens and some tournaments do have prizes but compared to the costs of continually repairing and upgrading machines like that.... I think most robots are retired because of loss of interest in the sheer amount of work, effort and money needed to keep them fighting.

@lpool1996moh9 Hmmm, I thought warhead came after Razer was retired. Some competitors did not compete in the 7th wars due to issues with the shows producers. I am not certain of what that issue is, if it were the move to Channel 5 or if it was related to the fact the producers appeared to fixed a number of fights or even the ordering of the tournaments.

Undoubtedly there are certain fights that appear to have been fixed, Storm 2 vs Typhoon for example.

@DoomsdayR3sistance nah warhead was around after series six or somthin. the reason i know this is that the team broke up after the tornado fight in the euros. ian lewis and vinnie blood had a fight cause ian did not want to han over victory. then he said since vinnie didnt help build razer his vote didnt count. after that avote was taken and simon scott sided with vinnie and tornado got the win.

as for the producers fixing fights as far as i know only storm had there fights fixed

@lpool1996moh9 there were other fights, for example when bots fell in the pits and the pit "mysterious" raised, mysteriously... while it could be called a technical failures, it seemed to follow a common trait of leading on to the pre-designed tournaments... it did seem fixed for example in series 5 that it was going to end out as a Hypnodisc vs. Razer final, no-body could have predicted Bigger Brothers luck to just hypnodisc on the pit as it descended or that it would be able to push hypnodisc.

just like the two series before that the first one the final was Hypnodisc vs. Choas 2 and the second one appeared to be designed to go exactly the same way if hypnodisc had not exposed it's sides to pussycat it probably would have.

For some reason I like Technofool's design, a truck rim as a full body spinner. Too bad he never got any air time other than this. It seems in every tournamnet he lost in the first round except 4.0 where he actually fought, but didn't make it to tv. Not that he is that impressive (in this rumble, he hardly moves and his spins speed is terrible.)

Most likely, Blendo's gas engine died. He looked like he moved two feet and then died in the corner. He never did well in Battlebots becasue Hyneman was never able to start the engine up before the battle like in Robot Wars, so he had to less reliable start system.

I was never really impressed with Overkill's weapon; yes it looks cool and that, but it seemed very exaggerated and ineffective to do any proper damage. The only thing the weapon can score on is Aggression.

THAT, is more impressive; it also can shatter vases in a demo video I saw. Watching those demos was impressive, but using the cleaver/blade against robots, most of them made of titanium, has limited effectiveness. Particularly with knockouts, most of which were quite lucky ones, like the fight with Surgeon General.
